Steelers - Raiders game thread. #ImmaculatelyNumb

I do agree. I just thought there was more than what was injured. Maybe I just over estimated it. It would be nice to have decent offensive calls to shore up a so-so offense.

Could be we need a new QB OR try a change of pace and put Rudolff in and actually open up the reins. Ben may be done sooner than later and I don't see him next year here. This is not based on a one game decision and I hope like hell I have to eat CROW on this.

So nice of Watt to hold out forever so he can get paid only to get hurt

It does seem that way. If he was full contact working out full training camp would this have happened sooner ??? It's hard to say but it does suck that he gets paid in full then gets hurt 1 1/2 games in.

Salute the nation

I dunno for me Ben didn't do enough this game. Overall a lot of fails. Which isn't shocking with a loss.
Yup Slash. If you look at the replays during the week,I think you will see Ben had enough time for many pass plays. He missed receivers as well. Not all on the line like most will blame for our woes.

I wouldn't put this on Ben. He made some great passes and did all he could. Tough to compete when you have no D and an Ebron. Why is he on our team? Is he the guy they send out for food before the meetings?
I didn't put it all on him but he gets his fair share of the pie.

Eh. Whatever. 1st place in week 3. Sweet. Great.
Its better than last place
They keep drafting players that are too ******* stupid
the vast majority of nfl players are slightly more intelligent than a brick… it’s refreshing when you get a brain with the brawn, but also kind of rare

Total team fail today.
Offense never had any identity and to top it off lost composure in the form of Trai Turner.

Defense started decent, but lost their best playmaker. Given these guys are pros, I expect the well paid coaches to have the backups ready as well.

Not sure why we look like hammered **** vs the raiders. At least the last 3-4 games have been the same as this. Awful!

They got a few more games to brush things up. Then they had better commit to the run game. So far the offense has been a couple of cute shifts, but the same short passing crap with a sprinkle of runs.

Ben is not going to hold up. They sure as hell are not throwing flags when he gets smashed a step late.

My best hope is to be around .500 at the halfway mark and healthy. It would be nice to not collapse at the end of the season again.

I have a bad feeling Ben is gonna be beat up by seasons end

You called him out and I disagree. Yes lots to go around but I think he did what he could. We definitely need a running game to take the pressure off him.

How many times was Ebron targeted this game? 'Cause he wasn't the issue. A more potent combination of issues was Johnson running wrong routes and Claypool not making catches he's supposed to. With DJ, it seems he's going to be one of those head case players that every year it's a different issue.

Listening to the post game interview with Tomlin after a loss is comedy gold.

i saw a sure first down go right through his hands. Would you keep targeting him with his history?

I don’t get nearly as upset as I used to after losses, because after 10 years with this coaching staff, I have learned not to have any expectations from this team. Every time you expect something, you get let down. I don’t see that changing any time soon.

Why not? Dj runs a **** ton of wrong routes, quits on routes and has that lead to an INT and Claypool lets his fair share hit him in the hands and drops them. But, they still get targets. At the expense I would argue of players who are open and will catch the ball, like 'Muth and JuJu.

Yeah I'm not sure what the hell they're doing. It's not like our wide receiver scramble to get open when he's running around. They had better go ground and pound pretty soon or it's going to get ugly fast.

You go ahead and keep throwing at the guy. ;)

I'm with you. I've seen this script so many times, I have the entire thing memorized.

I keep my actual expectations really low until they actually can do something when it really matters.

Again, we keep throwing at DJ. If they're going to **** up, why does it matter who you throw it to?
Personally, I think 'Muth is a better player right now and should (will) be the unquestioned starter next week. But, if we're calling out players for drops, mistakes, mental errors, I'm more worried about DJ's lazy azz quitting on the route **** and bone-headed running the wrong routes than Ebron dropping a pass when the defender had a fistful of his jersey.

4 groin injuries to starters? More like yeast infections. Typical! You can almost set your watch to this team crapping the bed!
