Eh, I'm all for Tomlin moving on. But some of these guys would blame him if TJ Watt didn't wear proper clothing in a rainstorm, caught the flu and missed a game.
"Tomlin doesn't preach about wearing the right clothes to match the weather. It's coaching."

Some of these players are about as accountable as kindergarteners.

You would think that after 8 yrs of high school and college ball that professional football players would no longer need to be taught those those types of things. They are supposed to be mature adults by now.

We have the Ravens to thank for our 3rd win. We have the refs to thank for our 4th. Hopefully no one is confusing this for us not being that bad. We're that bad.

It's not about excuses for Tomlin. It's that I don't believe EVERY miscue by the players is the coach's fault. Some of y'all would blame Tomlin if Percy Harvin shanked a punt ....

Can't blame Tomlin for the first shanked punt. Or the 2nd. Or 3rd.

But along about the 10th shanked punt, that is on him for keeping the guy as the team's punter. Who makes the team is his decision.

The Steelers were up 7. The Rams weren't guaranteed to get a touchdown and then win with a 2 point conversion or in OT.

ill give you the ravens game, but we pretty much earned this win. Yes the rams kicker stunk, but they also got lucky w/ basically a hailmary TD. We also had 2 good drives where we had to overcome penalties to continue. If DJ isnt a bonehead the game is over sooner. Even w/o Picketts generous spot the Rams would have had to drive the field and get a TD w/ no time outs.

When the *pats* where winning left and right, nobody said, "well they only won because of this or that". The just said that they won.

Regarding PH3… his shanks are way down… if out of ten punts, a punter gives you 3 or 4 amazing ones, one terrible punt and tge rest are average, you take that…

Comparing QB throws to punts is pretty ridiculous. You get that, right? A punter has maybe 5 punts per game, where it is against the rules to make contact with the guy unless you actually get a hand on the football. If Harvin punted 30 times in a game and could be hit - hard - right after he punted, then 10 errant punts would not be a big deal.

Have the game on DVR. Super busy weekend. High school reunion Saturday, informal get together Friday and I proudly closed down the bar both nights. Sunday my cousin got married. He’s a season ticket holder and when he and his new bride entered the reception hall the DJ played “Renegade”.

True you can't butttt you can spot trends. The trend is that despite whatever talent is on the team they struggle to the point that they either don't reach the playoffs or are one and done as a low seed.

I am talking in general in regards to junior varsity type coaching obviously.

That is true. No argument there. In the case of boneheaded mistakes, etc. ... well, we've discussed that ad nauseum.
