If Pickens is singled and can go up the sideline, Kenny just needs to keep the ball inbounds. Pickett is going to win that battle more than 75% of the time. That forces Rams to start playing 2-deep, and running game is now an option.

But the entire thought process behind the offense sucks. No easy completions to the TE over the middle of the field. No slants ... well, one, and it got an easy 15 yards so can't do that again. All 5 and 7-step drops, no quick patterns. It's a 1970's offense.
