Steelers select Dri Archer in Round 3

He was reading said spreadsheets to try and figure out how he could have possibly been chosen 15th overall in the draft, when all diagnostic, logistic, statistic, super-sonic reports say he was only worthy of being a 4th Round pick.
 
Dri could easily pancake Willis, he just needs to be driving the team bus at the time.

I'm honestly shocked that several minutes have passed and Supe has yet to post some joke about spreadsheets or Timdong. Those are still fresh and edgy.

He's probably Googling my username. Again.
 
Training camp will be here soon and we will get to hear a bunch more archer stuff. Then we will get to see him in some preseason action. Now this season there are no preseason games nationally broadcast so a lot of us will be on here waiting to hear about the good, the bad, the ugly, and the Tombert , from those of you that are fortunate enough to live in the Burgh or surrounding environs. Please remember those of us less fortunate. Also when posting remember we are in essence blind so when you post things like "Holly ****" we have no idea what you are referring to. Thanks to you guys that keep the game day stuff going.

Good post, as I too am on this train. Hearing from someone who is actually there or watching in real time, sure fills a void, for someone like me. I live long ways away, chose to get rid of CABLE all together. I only have internet and use this site dominantly. So I thank in advance, for your postings. There is a FULL team named the PITTSBURGH STEELERS and any and all accounting is appreciated.

Just a tip for some of you: Steelers Depot (see Twitter) is going to have a guy at most - if not every - public training camp practice. They will post a podcast with observations after each one.

I hear he went to college to take IT classes for the sole reason of being able to track your IP address to keep up with you. You can only hope he is out of position as much as Timdong and can't keep up.

You yourself posted in this very thread (pg. 18) that you were Googling my username, searching for me on other boards. You said specifically that it was for "stalking" purposes. That's a direct quote. (You somehow came away with the impression that I post on many boards, when I've posted on exactly two in my life.)

I could of made a new thread but chose to put it here. If Archer can master punts i think this will be his most immediate way to contribute right away. Alot harder for teams to keep it away from him on punts then kicks if he proves dangerous. Most teams will test him to see if he catch the ball till he burns someone anyway. The most intersting thing I picked up from reading this is how Tomlin tested Antonio Brown in 2010 by sending James Harrison full speed at him while he caught punts. I guess Tomlin does do some coaching every now and then.

Great article. I'm really looking forward to camp this year with all of the possible roster spots that will be open. Hopefully a few guys step up.

I have read their stuff for quite a while but the folks on here provide better insight in my opinion Al. Thanks for the tip though. Even with all the arguing and disagreements there are several posters that do a nice job breaking things down. A couple of other things I follow are Agree to Disagree on the Steeler site and Chalk Talk.
 
Another guy to follow is Dale Lolley he will have reports from camp also.
 
I can't remember who the different guys were in years gone by that went to the camps but some of them actually did a real good job of covering what was going on. There was also a guy that was complaining about autographs and being blown off by a player or several. The thread that covered that went for quite a while.

So to all the guys that are going and posting what they saw and heard, thanks in advance.
 
Yes he is and all these guys have twitter accounts. Twitter is really good for camp reports.
 
Yes very useful and alot of funny folks if you follow the right people.
