Steelers surprised by no-huddle

From a Pittsburgh website that I'm not sure I can post here, says that the Steelers never expected the clowns to run the no-huddle. Troy is quoted as saying "It was a nice little curveball they threw in there." The clowns never used the no-huddle in pre-season so the Steelers never expected it in the regular season. I don't understand this line of thinking. Do not all teams move to the no-huddle when they are losing by over 20 points with only a half left?

You are getting dangerously close to critisizing the coaching....

We need to find a way to teach our inside line backers patience. As fast as they are they can take a little longer to diagnose the play then get where they need to go maintain there contain responsibility. This is where dick needs to focus his coaching. Either that or we need to abandon the bend don't break and go to a strictly feast or famine balls to the wall attack defense. We would give up
Points but we might start scoring some and getting the ball back for our real weapon the offense.

You maybe able to do something with Shazier but Timmons is a 7 year vet. He's always had issues with being out of position and over running plays. That isn't going to stop. In the past they had Foote or Farrior beside him to help him and to do a lot of the dirty work of stopping the run. Now he doesn't have that and he is struggling big time because of it.

Nothing in your posts shows a semblance of football knowledge so spare us your crappy resume. The Steelers under Tomlin are underachieving, sloppy, undisciplined, fat and stupid, reflecting their coach. When things change, and they won't under Tomlin, I will be fine and dandy. Your dime store psychology is stupider than even your lack of insight football posts. Now back to your pom poms.

I agree so that is where they are going to have to do some serious coaching. Hopefully Shazier is everything they say he is. Otherwise we might need to look at replacing Timmons not because he sucks but because he does not fill the role we need right now. If we could just transplant Farriors mind into his body.
