Completely disagree. Rolling with Mitch gets us nothing. What’s the point of sucking this year then switching in week 12 or next year and struggling with a 1st season qb. We may suck with Pickett, but at least he can gain some experience
 
What about the Dolphins? I doubt they could hang with us, but they've made quite the turn around this game.

You do realize that I wasn't criticizing the idea of putting Pickett in, but rather the number of times we have had to see Chico whining about it right?
Nah, you couldn't have realized that. Because if so, you wouldn't have responded to my post in the manner in which you did.

It is but not for the reasons you state. We are in transition. We have the wrong guy at QB and maybe OC.

I'd like to point out that defending Mitch, FOR NOW, does not mean you think he's the answer and it doesn't mean you are hating on Picket. It just means you see that the poor OL play and Canada's predictable offense is by far the bigger problem.

EVen if you think Pickett is awesome, why would you want him out there right now with all this dysfunction?
 
I love Miamis coach he seems like such a screwball... Totally opposite of the stereo typical football coach

But not in game #2. You don't throw in the towel this soon. Some of you guys were calling for it in the first half last week. You have to ride with MT for at least a couple more weeks before making the switch. If he consistently plays like this through the bye, I predict we make the change at that point. Give the guy a chance for God's sake.

The offense is garbage. The OL was OK today. Not great by any stretch but not terrible either. This was all about the awful passing offense. Blame it all on Mitch if you want but the design of this offense is remedial. Every defense knows exactly what's coming

An offense like this is easy to defend and it will be proven week in and week out, that’s for sure.

The D gives up a flukey end of first half play and caves a bit after Gunner puts em in a bad spot…they definitely played well enough to win with even an average NFL offense. Sadly ours is 30th, or lower
 
I'll take the blame for this loss. Went to the sports bars to watch the game and left my Terrible Towel at home. I hate myself for that. My apologies.
 
I can't believe so many people went along with blaming last year on Big Ben. Yeah, it was the Hall of Fame QB holding back the offense, not the journeyman college OC who can't stay anywhere longer than 2 years. No he has a secret MAGIC offense that he just hasn't been able to implement with broken down Big Ben. Just wait til next year. Well I'm waiting. I see the same ****

You don’t “have” to roll with a QB that is consistently checking down for 2 yard dumps on 3rd and 8.

His field vision is obviously very poor…he locks on to receivers, can’t look defenders off to move LBs at all, can’t throw over the middle and takes zero risks.

I’d argue sticking with him is throwing in the towel and I’m almost always a let the rookie sit guy and was 100% on board with that going in. This is just stupid tho

Hell give Rudy a shot if they’re afraid to ruin the rookie but Mitch is showing zero guts so is it him or the leadership direction?
 
If it wasn't an absolute certainty that Penn State will win the National Championship at least 8 times in the next 5 years, this loss would be a real bummer.

Tells ya a lot about the coaching staff
 
The Cowboys OL sucks. They are starting Cooper Rush at QB and they have Cee Dee Lamb and nothing else at WR. Let's see how they fare against the Bengal defense
