Watching form here Fields looks very uncomfortable. He doesn’t have confidence. He really needs to learn the reads.
I believe they call those check downs. Fields has mastered those, I would say.we just cannot run a pass play underneath that is right at the line to gain. Always 3-5 yards short
Good point. They really dont. A couple of guys are bascially waiting on Najee or Jaylen when they get to the line. Its somewhat of an improvement because a year ago and two years ago, defenders were in the backfield waiting on Najee/Jaylen. So at least we have pushed them back to the scrimmage line. Now we need to graduate to actually getting a push for a couple yards.OL never seems to get a push.
Their secondary is full of talented players - no need to press if it's not there. Use Marsha's template - DINK and DOINK all the way up the field w/ Fields...we just cannot run a pass play underneath that is right at the line to gain. Always 3-5 yards short
Really? Well to be fair. You have said that in every game so far this season.Watching form here Fields looks very uncomfortable. He doesn’t have confidence. He really needs to learn the reads.
yep and we have no one else that can take advantage of that. Antonio Brown was every bit as good--no, ABrown was better than Pickens is now and he always found a way to get open. Of course the QB throwing to him was a little different than the one throwing these days.Safety is bolting to his side post snap on every play.
Yes. And not a peep from the experts in the CBS booth..in fact it was " a great play by Samuels."That was DPI - pulled George's arm.
Simms has stated numerous times....nobody is open down field.I believe they call those check downs. Fields has mastered those, I would say.
He also had Samuels draped all over his back and had his arm pulled - early; but, oh well...Pickens had both hands on it
If we start playing tigjt coverage....you just have to hope they call it the same way for us.Yes. And not a peep from the experts in the CBS booth..in fact it was " a great play by Samuels."
That style died... Ds learned to thwart itTheir secondary is full of talented players - no need to press if it's not there. Use Marsha's template - DINK and DOINK all the way up the field w/ Fields...
Simms isn’t even calling this game.Simms has stated numerous times....nobody is open down field.
