Yep my biggest concern was his one good college year of production. I thought overall the QB class was underwhelming. Still not overly high on the class. But I thought Pickett performed better in camp than what I anticipated. I thought they dragged their feet starting him. And yeah a lot of typical rookie mistakes. But besides the downfalls I think there is some throws that are impressive. Obviously he has to clean those INTs up, especially in critical moments. That last INT was from being impatient and forcing it in there or trying to. Another was from reading their D wrong and yeah some past ones were WR induced.Actually, I think the folks who hated drafting him the most were myself, @slashsteel and @bermudasteel. We each have been realistic that many of Kenny's mistakes are Rookie mistakes and hope that he learns/progresses. There's also about 3-4 of his INTs that are results of catchable balls his WRs have tipped.
Now, there are also those folks who won't admit that the kid even makes mistakes. Home Town Hero and all that.
I think the kid has a high floor overall. As in a Carr type QB with the ability to be more than that. Still wait and see but I like some parts of his game. Hopefully they continue to give him his build opportunities.
