Steelers VS Indy game thread.

Two big FU... Tomlin waying his hat what a complete idiot yes fire away idiot. and these announces continued questioning no call on last play. Thes officials missed at least three holding calls against Colts and they said nothing
oh shut the hell up

he has forgotten more about the game than you have ever known

I don't know why Matt Ryan was marked short on that QB run. he dove forward and wasn't touched until he hit the ground. That should have been a 1st down.

Think they got away with a PI on that last play too.
Maybe. Perhaps. Every game you have a handful of callls that go either way for you. You take them when they go your way and ***** when they don't.

When you run effectively you give your offense a chance. Defense did just enough whew. 1 2 3

If you guessed I was going to say win you would be

Wright.

Pickett's pocket presence was improved tonight. Two drops aside, Pickens continues to establish himself as the go-to receiver. Props to Snell and McFarland as well for getting the job done on the ground.

Steelers with 36 runs, 31 drop backs (I know a couple of the runs were scrambles, but whatever). Much better balance and I think it showed in terms of offensive production.

I just ran back that Matt Ryan scramble. He dove forward and bounced and Edmunds eventually touched his foot while he was down. He got to within a yard of the 1st. The refs marked him 2 yards back. Instead of 3rd and 3 it should have been 3rd and less than a yard. Steelers got away with one there

Benz wrote an article this week basically hoping the Steelers would lose so that he and his favorite monkey could have Tomlin hot takes all week.
He followed that up with an appearance on The Final Word doing the same.
Somewhere, Tim Benz is crying. That makes me happy.

IMO, seems we dont swap out our Dline enough. Many times seen Larry O and Cam looking pretty gassed. I had thought Loudermilk would be more in rotation.

To me it seems we are sacrificing D LINE to trot out bush. And i think he is just bad. Miles Jack didnt stand out tonight either. Its just wierd.

someone else pointed out this was incorrect and that the ball was spotted just like it was when Kenny dove in the first half
ball is spotted at first contact with the ground

Wrong. Kenny did the same thing for a first down early in the game. The officials mark it where they feel the QB gave himself up.

No they didn't. QBs don't have to slide to give themselves up. It's been this way for awhile now.

“A quarterback does not have to slide feet first to be considered to be giving himself up,” the league’s online rules say. “Regardless whether the slide is feet first or head first, as long as he gives himself up, he should receive the protections afforded to him as a player in a defenseless posture.”

I didn't see that rule change. It's BS. I still think they marked Ryan back too far. Seemed they marked him where he started the dive and not where he hit.
