Steelers vs Saints

They were talking about the bye. This team being *** against bad teams is another story. This team today isn't one of them though. I don't watch a lot of Saints games, but I have no idea how they are so ****** in that division.

Because they have a HORRIBLE defense. Which happens to be exactly what you need against Ben.

They also turn the ball over a lot, which no one ever has to worry about against our defense.

This is a horrible matchup for us

You guys who expected us to beat a 4-7 team on a three-game losing streak at home after the bye with our playoff hopes in the balance..

you're just spoiled. Every team loses games like this. 3-5 times a year.

They don't, but this particular team isn't exactly lacking talent offensively. I expected them to score twenty eight or so, I just figured our juggernaut offense could handle a **** defense. I was wrong. It isn't a new thing.

I guess not, even though they handled Luck. To do it twice is not an easy task. This is ugly, though.

Just as a funny little side note... Ryan Fitzpatrick has thrown for 6 TD's against a team we struggled to score against. Those two anomaly games have skewed Ben's stats to make it look like he's had a very good year. The reality is that he has had two very good games... The rest of the year... Meh... Take away those 2 games, and he's thrown 12 TD's in 10 games. That flat out sucks...

They've only faced 2 truly dangerous qbs this season, and both have lit them up. Fortunately, they scored 51 points vs the Colts. The next 4 opponents have mediocre qbs, so they won't get lit up to this degree, but the defense is really bad. Brady could put 50 up on them. When Ben plays poorly, they have no chance. If he was sharp, we might have 35-40 points.

Not really. The Saints D gives up 26+ points and like 400yds a game. Brees was going to get his 35pts against our ****** D. We needed 36.
