Super Bowl LIX

Congrats to the SuperBowl champion Eagles.
After that performance you can see why the Stillers were hammered by them this season.
In fact isn’t it true that the Steelers haven’t beaten the Eagles since the mid 60s?

The Steelers haven't won in Philly since 1964, I think.

No not true. The Steelers haven't beat them in Philly since the 60's. They don't play often, so it's not some ridiculous number.

The Steelers at home have faired much better.

The game was boring and over by halftime
The Commercials were unmemorable and mostly unfunny
The halftime show was sterile and uninspired...

This is supposed to be entertainment... Entertain me, damnit...

For me the game made up for the terrible show and commercials.
I enjoyed the blowout as much as I enjoyed when the Steelers used to blow out teams.

I wonder if ex Eagle Jason Kelce who was a loser to his brother 2 yrs ago is happy or sad.
I’d bet he’s happy as ****. Sorry bro.

Just in: Taylor Swift has just dumped Travis Kielce for ex Eagle Jason.

Not sure about that. They still have a damn good coachand damn good qb.
Can’t dispute that. I thought this season they were helped. Not that Reid isn’t good he is. Just seemed like the agenda was strong to assist them in their journey.

I stopped watching at halftime. Were there any DOGE commercials in the second half?

I never saw any.
I'm happy that Kenny got a ring. FU Tomlin and Canaduh.

Most of the commercials IMO were put oddball trash like the halftime show. Liked the Harrison Ford commercial. Was one or two others I thought were ok.

The cowboy hat one where it was glued to their head was cringy.

I had alot of very low budget local commercials. Most of the other commercials were pretty bad. Companies don't seem to value the Superbowl commercial spots the last few years.
As for the game i think the chiefs will be fine. They still need another offensive weapon. Philly should be very good for a few years as well. Having such a dominant DL can take them a long ways.

Building the trenches is always the best approach IMO…

Oh and a broken scheme is just that, it will make everything look inadequate.

liked the Johnny Cash song commercial

From what I’ve been hearing from the media and sports talk shows is how fortunate the Chiefs were this year.
The internet is flooded with examples and stories about the lucky Chiefs.
How the ball has always bounced in their favor. Beating Denver on an easy missed field goal. Winning on doink field goals.
Having a relatively weak schedule, they beat four teams by 2 points, while winning games on an average of 4 points.

Not to mention the favorable officiating they received which has been brought up on this board.
This doesn’t even include the refs screw up against the Steelers (probably because they would have beaten the Steelers regardless)

Lucky ********!!
