The Climate Change Thread

I simply cannot believe how low you climate deniers have sunk. Doubting that the GDP of Uzbekistan will determine the world's economy in the 21st century?

What has she done? She believed the lie that she would be climate warrior, and finally break the back of capitalist nazis who are willing to destroy the environment to get rich and powerful. When in reality, they were just using her as a publicity stunt to further the narrative that most people see through, but don't have the platform to successfully counter.

That's what she did. In short, she is a tool, already thrown out, and completely irrelevant. Sadly, she still doesn't know that, believing that she is important with an important message. She is wrong.

For further understanding, see David Hogg.

so, what has she done?

Dropped out of school in the 10th grade. I used to think that was a bad thing but seeing how Greta cruises around the world in private jets and yachts, I gotta tell 'ya, she may be on to something.

Money is backing her up from somewhere. Somebody thinks she is still useful as a tool.
If she is successful, the rich will get richer.

Climate change nut with billions who often talks about reducing the population just trying to take control of food supply.

The fact it qualifies as organic shows what a sham that label is. You just pay for it. your local farm stand can’t call their stuff organic but spend enough money and you can have chemical coated produce labeled organic.

I think the fact that there has to be a subsidy at all speaks to the failure that is our healthcare system.

I’m fortunate. I have tricare until 65 and I’ll have the VA until I die. I pay next to nothing for doctor visits, hospital stays, and absolutely nothing for medication. I feel for people who are using the marketplace for their health insurance. They are getting ripped off because we have a government that keeps hitting the easy button and throwing money we don’t have at everything rather than actually trying to fix anything.

There are more and more of us who just ignore the US medical industry, choosing to eat healthy, live on non -processed foods, organic, clean meats (most of what I eat), supplements from what our grandparents used, etc. I genuinely don't care if it kills me. I make it to my 80s, and I'm happy. I won't waste the last years taking meds, etc.

Cheaper, easier, historical, and all around a much preferred life for me.

ah, but when you can print money like you're printing a best selling book, like, oh "107 Days", and also print a lil bit for you, a lil bit for your buddies, a lil bit here, a lil there, who cares?

This is the way. I mostly eat red meat, eggs, chicken, fish, a little pork. I like cheese too, mostly Swiss, havarti, Gouda. I’ll have some veggies here and there, mostly when my wife is on my *** for not eating any. I try to avoid bread and anything processed. I exercise almost daily, primarily lifting weights with some cardio. Man, I just want to live a little longer.

Yeah, I'm mostly carnivore, but include cheese. Had bacon and gouda for breakfast. I slip up with breads from time to time. I love a good hearty, crusty sourdough. Lots of water, and some coffee. That's about all I drink.

I just don't trust US medical stuff. Just don't.

I'm the same way but I need a pizza or pasta fix every week or two. My employee from Italy brings me 2 year old parmesan when he visits. It's one of the best things on the planet. My drinks are limited to coffee, tons of water and more red wine than I probably should have.

I agree on the parm. I put out money for cheese. If it's not good, I'm not interested. A good cheese is worth it's money.

What you're describing is preventative medicine and could be used successfully for a large percentage of the population. Unfortunately, Americans have become fat and lazy, relying on pharmaceuticals to solve problems that could be resolved with lifestyle changes, with the added benefit of no drug side effects to treat with yet another drug.
Obviously, this approach won't work for everyone, but it should be the first course of action. " Although she's not really ill, there's a little yellow pill. "

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a national organisation forwarding the actual health and wellness of the people, rather than trade organizations taking dough from pFarma to shill, at every level, a pill for a symptom, rather than an effort at affecting the root cause.

I've been Type 2 diabetic for 9 years now so I have to eat healthy whether I want to or not.
