This is why their strategy is anyone but Trump, rather than our candidate is excellent. The best presidential candidates are often governors. This list is very short on Governors ( Are there any?! )

Of the group O’Rourke ( who lost his senate race ) and Mitch Landrieu have the best long term potential.

Landrieu in particular ( Mayor of New Orleans, and LT Governor of the State of Louisiana ) is an excellent communicator, sharp in debate and well liked by minorities. He's got personality. He would also do well with religious type of voters. My hope is the corrupt DNC and big money gobble him up before he gains further momentum.
