if they hire Marrone, nothing will change. he's nothing more than another no name typical browns coach. Wont have the stones to push the owners to win. I want Tom Coughlin all day long if Im a clowns fan
****, they can't even **** up correctly to get the #1 overall pick.I just heard that the Clowns are going to hire a HC first then a GM. This may be the most incompetent, dysfunctional team in the history of professional sports. Although you can hardly call them a professional sports team. Maybe the strategy is a 5 year tank (to go along with their present 17 year tank) to accumulate first overall draft picks.
I wonder how many of the posters here are constant bitchers about the Steeler organization, FO, and coaching?

Looks like Johnny could be headed to Jerry land. Although this is pure speculation on Peter King's part.
They should go after Chip Kelly. The teams needs gutted and re-tooled and he would do that. If they give him a few years to Phillyfied the team from top to bottom, who knows what can happen. It would be a name with some potential. May be better than another coordinator and ex-coach re-tread they keep striking out on. Talk about the Black Hole, though. I wouldn't wish that job on any sane human.

Not only did the Cleveland Browns lose another game to the Steelers, but they just fired the head coach as well. Look at the bright side Pettine, you don't have to work in Cleveland anymore!
The coach was well liked by fans and players... they didn't think he was the problem... there may be a lot of trade requests in the offseason over this
He was part of the decision to pick Johnny Rehab when there was all kinds of red flags. He bears some responsibility.
I'm not sure that Pettine had any say whatsoever in that decision.
Too bad there's not a corporate "headhunter" trying to poach Tomlin from the Steelers.
Signed,
