They may technically not work for Trump, but there is a clear chain of command which goes top down, from the President. He could basically fire any one of them, or have them fired, so you could say they all work for him.

You know a large segment of the population believes that's a wives' tale. Sure that's the spin from Fox News and breitbart. With the amount of scrutiny involved, I doubt we're witnessing some rogue FBI agents going apeshit on the President, simply disgruntled with Trump winning the election. That may have been the case with certain agents along the way, no doubt many people hate Trump. But I can't fathom an investigation like this continuing on for this long fueled simply by some bad actors with hurt feelings. This is the President we're talking about.

I believe we should appoint a Special Counsel for every president upon election, based off of evidence of a crime, whether verified or not. We should then give the Counsel unliimited funds and resources to look for ANY evidence of a possible crime, and then raid their homes and offices to confiscate all personal documents. This will go on indefinitely until a crime is found, or one will be created by lying to the FBI.

This is about a cover-up of a more insidious series of crimes perpetrated by the height of the Washingtom power structure in the last administration. It infected the FBI, the DOJ, the State Dept. and most probably the White House. Some Republicans were complicit too. This information is coming out, and it will be a nuclear bomb when it does. This Special Counsel is a diversion, and is coming to it's distastrous conclusion.

Given that yesterday's raid was signed off by Trump's Republican appointee in NY and carried out by a separate agency, not Mueller's special counsel. You can't go barging into to an attorney's office unannouced with a search warrant on a whim or based on faulty pretenses.
