The next Steelers player?

To further expand it looks like the Falcons are clearing room and have decent money tied up with Pitts. Maybe they will run at a QB.

How's his blocking? He seems like he's had solid production over the years given his role.

PFF says he had some down years blocking but they are always iffy on accuracy...

Looked and saw he was in Tennessee also. Was he there with Smith too? Interdastin...

The big TE from Georgia was used as receiver slightly more than I was last year. Another offensive embarrassment last year. I don't think he gott a red zone target. If I'm HC I'm saying I don't really know how or what. But get him the ****** ball inside the 15.

I don't really want to know how were you used hehehe

slash, I’d pass, we have bigger needs.

Don’t get me wrong as I know we could use a tight end, but we have much bigger needs and little money to spend.

For some reason I think we are about 15 mil under the cap, but also have candidates to free up monly on.

We need FAs ILB / CB / OL (Center or Tackle) and we lost out on FA pun ter Aizer (sp), KC signed him.

Those three / four are going to take some $$$peso$$$ to fill, on top of the draft.

Cam’s rework will get one FA

TJ’s rework will get one + a punter (if FA signed)

15 mill will get a FA + rookie + reserve for in season FA if need

That’s just my speculation on money, a lot can happen before the draft.

He wouldn't be a pricey addition. They have a ton of money they can free up for free agency and some of it they should...

His signing wouldn't impact a RT,C, and or QB coming in. They could cut Robinson and that would be more than enough...

Q. What happens with Conner Heyward and Wahington?

Q. What happens with Conner Heyward and Washington?
Heyward is primarily a FB and Washington is primarily a blocking TE. They barely get any production out of their third WRs or 2nd TE. Plus to be honest Heyward is a fringe player who easily can be cut if need be.

Maybe Washington can play RT?
I'd love to see another psss catching TE that enables double or triple TE sets in redzone.

With little production from Heyward or Austin, another option seems reasonable; not sure of the balance on ST needs though.

I think Heyward is better than most give him credit for. When given the chance he seems to come thorough. We just do not use him or any of our TEs near enough.

True but there is a new sheriff in town that is said to like to play his TEs. So we shall see.

We often talk about being misused and wouod look good in B and G. I think Heyward us badly misused in thus offense and dhouod have 4 targets a game.

yeah, but its not like Smith is the next coming of Mike Martz

We see him soooo rarely. Which is sad, because when he is on tape he looks to be making nice catches and/or blocks. Given the new OC's penchant for using TEs and FBs (really, more than 3 wr sets) maybe we can see a breakout year in the TE and FB room.
