Yep. It really is nuts. Never thought it would happen so quickly either. Not minimizing what's happening by making this comparison, but it was like the Steelers season last year IMO. Things just went to hell so quickly. There were holes and patchwork definitely going on and other things that helped kick-start it, but it was liking watching a car flying off a cliff or something.

It's like there's another disease that's in the air which infects people, and it's spreading at an alarming rate. Twilight Zone type ****. It is frightening.

In all fairness, the mayor appears to be newly elected on a platform that included defunding police, so it seems she is only doing what the people of St Louis want.

I'm fine with calling her stupid, as well as the people of St. Louis.

No different than the people of Minneapolis, who had to support defunding the police as well as the local pols.

Whether it's a part of the platform, personal desires, came from the people, or went against the people's wishes....it's wrong, it's failed, it doesn't work, we all told you it wouldn't work, and now...it's not working.

It's also gonna cost Dems dearly in the mid terms...if ballot machines work correctly.

I knowwwwwwwwwwwww. I also posted those links, shared with friends on Facebook. It was that way for over 24 hours. We kept checking on it. Crazy.
