The Official Thread Dedicated to "Biden Destroying Us"

This is the Director of ATF nominee? God help us:

Above the caliber of .22? Not only is this guy a moron, but a deranged one. Does he realize the tens of millions of firearms that fire "above the caliber of .22"?

But are they semi-automatic? That seems to be the main qualifier.

Lol, yes self-loading firearms are scary. Let's go back to muskets.

The DIA has a differing definition...

According to the Defense Intelligence Agency, “assault rifles” are “short, compact, selective-fire weapons that fire a cartridge intermediate in power between a submachine gun and rifle cartridges.” All assault rifles are capable of automatic fire

So for you knuckle dragging liberal window lickers, let me dumb it down in a manner you can understand.

Not an assault rifle: Pew Pew Pew Pew

Assault Rifle: BRRRRRRTTTT

In the event that you STILL don't understand...Lets use pictures!! YAY!!. See that option that says "AUTO", ONLY ASSAULT WEAPONS HAVE THAT.

What ******* firearm has a non-detachable magazine? The point of a magazine is to have an ammunition storage device that is easy to access, load and replace. That's the whole point of magazines. They add adjectives to make it seem like the number of firearms that fit the definition is limited, when the adjectives are almost universally merely synonyms for the device.

Magazine: "Detachable, removable or replaceable ammunition storage and feeding chamber." Uhhh, yeah ... "magazine."

You'd think the nominee for Director of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms would understand this.

A living nightmare.

Here's David Chipman being a tough guy back in the day:

Yep, that's him. Wow, look at that scary guy, holding that automatic dispensing semi-automatic magazine belt-fed assault killing machine armament while standing in front of the charred remains of the bad guys he killed.

Okay, standing in front of the remains of woman and children at Waco that he helped burn alive, cuz he is so tough he aint skeered a no woman and children.

Oh, and those reports about Beijing Joe investigating the origins of the Chinese flu? Yeah, not so much. From right-wing CNN:

Washington (CNN)President Joe Biden's team shut down a closely-held State Department effort launched late in the Trump administration to prove the coronavirus originated in a Chinese lab over concerns about the quality of its work, according to three sources familiar with the decision.
The existence of the State Department inquiry and its termination this spring by the Biden administration -- neither of which has been previously reported -- comes to light amid renewed interest in whether the virus could have leaked out of a Wuhan lab with links to the Chinese military. The Biden administration is also facing scrutiny of its own efforts to determine if the Chinese government was responsible for the virus.
Those involved in the previously undisclosed inquiry, which was launched last fall by allies of then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, say it was an honest effort to probe what many initially dismissed: that China's biological weapons program could have had a greater role in the pandemic's origin in Wuhan, according to two additional sources.
The decision to terminate the inquiry, which was run primarily out of the State Department's arms control and verification bureau, was made after Biden officials were briefed on the team's draft findings in February and March of this year, a State Department spokesperson said. Questions were raised about the legitimacy of the findings and the project was deemed to be an ineffective use of resources, explained a source familiar with the decision.
Sources involved in the Trump-era inquiry rejected criticisms over the quality of their work and told CNN their objective had been to examine scientific research and information from the US intelligence community which backed the lab leak theory and shone more light on how it could have emerged in the lab.
A day after CNN reported this story, the State Department disputed that it had shut down the Trump-era inquiry and instead said that its work had been completed. Several sources involved with the inquiry who spoke to CNN said it was their impression that there was more work to be done.

Huh. Drug-addled, parmesan-smoking idiot son gets massive deal from China, "10% to the big guy," and shuts down ongoing investigation into the Chinese flu leaking from a lab in the city where the Chinese flu started and which was working on variations of the Chinese flu.

Nothing to see here folks. Nothing to see. Nothing will come of it, despite it coming from Hunter's laptop. Tin Foil Hat stuff folks.

You'd think the nominee for Director of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms would understand this.

A living nightmare.
All he needs to understand is that it's his job to restrict gun ownership as much as possible.

My neighbor showed me his Glock 22, or maybe it was Clock, who knows. Anyway I was told it took a .40 caliber (?) which seems to me to be excessive, cuz that's bigger than a .22, I think. Anywho's, the capacity of the clip is 15! Who needs that? He let me hold it and fire it. I held my breath, and closed my eyes.... bam, bam, bam, bam. It was scary how quickly it fired, and I told him no one needs a semi-automatic weapon like that.

Dude...I hear ya! My neighbor has a .45 ACP which stands for Autoloading Colt Pistol!! It's an automatic!! I was instantly doused in cold fear, I couldn't move for like....20 seconds...so scared! No one should be able to have an automatic pistol...like....EVAR!!

I know a lot about weapons (well a lot compared to Liberals) but am by no means an expert, so....someone keep me honest here...

I think it kinda goes like this, starting from smallest...

A BB-gun...A pellet gun...Then a .22 caliber (yes there have been smaller for miniature guns, but not used mainstream). The point? The .22 cal is the smallest caliber used in handguns/rifles (or one of the smallest). When dipshit says anything with a detachable magazine and .22 cal or higher...he's saying basically every single firearm.

People don't understand how TINY a .22 caliber is. TINY. In the first picture below, you see the .22 next to a penny next to a .223. The .223 is the most common ammunition used in the AR-15. In the picture to the right, you see the .22 then the .223, then a .30-06.

1622130759253.png1622130442040.png

For relative understanding, no one I know of or heard of has used a .22 for deer hunting. Most would NOT use a .223 for deer hunting. The bullets are small, easily diverted if you hit the tiniest of branches. They are high velocity, but you must hit the deer perfectly to kill. Lot's of deer have been maimed and wounded and never found because a hunter used a small round, and a poor shot location. I used to use the even larger .243 and it was a tad too small. Many I know use the .30-06, shown in the picture to the right. See how much larger it is than the .22 or the .223? #3 in the picture to the right is pretty common for deer. To kill moose, elk, bear, you would typically go with larger ammo still.

Here's another better view. The .22 is all the way to the left...that tiny little bullet. You can see the .223 listed as the smallest of the Typical Rifle Calibers in the middle.

So...just so you know, when this asshat says anything .22 and above...he's talking about literally EVERY GUN except BB and pellet guns.

What ******* firearm has a non-detachable magazine?
Some, though not many. Shotguns for instance often have embedded magazines (non-detachable) allowing you to load 3 shells.

My .243 that I used to hunt with has a built-in magazine (non detachable), allowing me to hold up to 4 rounds in the gun.

They aren't common but they are out there.

AZ, Badcat, I cannot believe you gun freaks got near a semi-automatic automatic belt-fed killing device rifle pistol. You people are crazy. I read one story on Huffington Post about those murder machines and BOOM! Convinced. Nobody needs that kind of killing power. Time to disarm law-abiding people so they don't go on murderous rampages because of right-wing talk shows and the NRA.

Science.

fun fact though, Mafia hit men loved the .22, especially the subsonic rounds as they were quiet and had just enough power to penetrate the human skull, bounce around a few times and never exit. mmmm....scrambled brains.

My neighbor has a semi-auto 12 Gauge that holds 5 rounds but has a plug that reduces it to 3 rounds, which makes it legal to hunt with in PA. If libtards want to be scared about firepower...load that ***** with 3 1/2" turkey loads, full choke, and let her rip. They would turn to jello and weep for years

AZ, I believe you are referring to the automatic semi-automatic belt fed device. I know, it's confusing. I get my firearm data from very experienced and knowledgeable people like this:

Anti-gun California State Sen. Kevin de Leon (D-Los Angeles) ... made a number of inaccurate statements while promoting a bill that would require individuals who manufacturer homemade firearms to undergo background checks.

“This is a ghost gun,” de Leon begins, holding an unloaded rifle in his hands. “This right here has the ability with a .30-caliber clip to disperse with 30 bullets within half a second. Thirty magazine clip in half a second.”

30 rounds, or as experts call it "bullets," per half second from a 30-round magazine, or as experts call it a "clip," or 60 bullets per second, 3600 bullets per minute. Unbelievable. Who needs that? I mean, the Warthog has a .50 caliber that delivers rounds - or more accurately "bullets" - at 1,000 to 2,000 rounds per minute so a ghost gun can fire at almost twice that fast.

Some, though not many. Shotguns for instance often have embedded magazines (non-detachable) allowing you to load 3 shells. My .243 that I used to hunt with has a built-in magazine (non detachable), allowing me to hold up to 4 rounds in the gun.

Learn something every day. Neighbor has a .308 - common hunting round, sorry, bullet - with a magazine, sorry, "clip" that holds four rounds, sorry, bullets, but it is removable.

Yep, .22 handguns are popular. I would imagine the gangsters would use them for executions - guns next to the head style. I don't know that I'd want to be at one end of an alley shooting at someone else at the other end with a .22 however.

 :ROFLMAO:

A bit OT but been wanting a lever-action rifle and recently watched the movie "Wind River" (again) and I want that Marlin 1895 SBL .45-70 Jeremy Renner used to blow those ******** through walls in the final shootout scene:

Sumbitch has some serious pop but I think I can handle 'er. I wouldn't be shooting large game but I still want it. Am I a monster?
