Certainly an enemy of the state and a domestic terrorist. She will absolutely need a special trip in the cattle car.

Into the depths we go and how far we fall until we wake up is the unknown. I'm just glad I don't have to endure this **** if it passes. My house don't have nun of them evil guns, they can just move along. Good thing too 'cause there's no fukin' way I'd do any of this ....if I had any guns, that is......jus sayin'

Democratic bill would force all gun owners to go through 'psychological evaluations' along with family members

Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee introduced a bill earlier this month that would enact some of the strictest gun regulations in the history of the country and give the federal government sweeping power to decide who can own a firearm.

Specifically, the bill would dramatically expand the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Justice Department's ability to surveil legal gun owners, forcing them to submit information about "the make, model, and serial number of the firearm, the identity of the owner of the firearm, the date the firearm was acquired by the owner, and where the firearm is or will be stored."

Gun owners would have three months to comply with the new federal orders for a new database that would be "accessible to all members of the public."

Chip, your second meme is the point I try to make all the time. If congress or any individual politician were truly interested in lowering crime through gun control, they would start with the hood rats with illegal guns in every major American city. Problem is, that's too hard. It would require work, and the people enforcing it would likely be hurt or killed, at least some of them. No, it is far easier to hang the laws around the neck of the decent, law abiding society, and what better time than now? Americans are proving with regularity that as a whole, they are going to stand by and take it without so much as a protest. The government isn't worried about any uprising, because they have basically done what they want for the last several years with no pushback. I am pretty sure HR 127 is going to pass. And most of the nation will shrug and dutifully obey.

I wish I could counter your point but unfortunately you are absolutely right.

They'll now shift attention away from the far left tactics of antifa&blm ,to the new fictional boogie man. White radical nationalists&white supremacy. This is basically anyone who opposes the far leftist agenda and starts to counter this nonsense.

This is just par for the course in demonizing dissent and trying to secure indefinite one party control. Every single thing they do will push toward that objective. It's really simple to do. Our media will carry this lie hard and relentlessly.

Wow. Just wow.

Defense secretary orders military ‘stand down’ to address ‘extremism’

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered a “stand down” of the entire US military over the next 60 days in order for commanders to address “extremism” in its ranks.

News of the military-wide pause came in an announcement Wednesday from the Pentagon, with press secretary John Kirby describing the move to reporters as similar to stand downs that units have to do to address safety concerns.

Austin issued the order following a meeting about the issue with Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley, as well as service civilian leaders and service chiefs.

The group also discussed last month’s Capitol riot, Kirby said, noting the presence of veterans and active-duty service members at the shocking scene. They left the meeting still uncertain of how to fully address the problem.

According to Kirby, the riot was “a wake-up call” for the entire department.

The press secretary went on to quote Austin as calling extremism in the ranks a leadership issue.

“It’s got to be a leadership issue down to the lowest levels, small unit leadership all the way up to him. So if you consider it a leadership issue, then maybe there will be some potential solutions there to allow us greater visibility,” Kirby said, referencing his boss’ comments during the meeting.

Each command will be required to complete the stand down over the next 60 days, giving commanders and service members some time to figure out how to work on the issue.

During his confirmation hearings, Austin pledged that he would “rid our ranks of racists and extremists,” though he declined to offer details on how he planned to see that through.

“We also owe our people a working environment free of discrimination, hate and harassment. If confirmed, I will fight hard to stamp out sexual assault, to rid our ranks of racists and extremists, and to create a climate where everyone fit and willing has the opportunity to serve this country with dignity,” the then-nominee said in his prepared remarks before the Senate last month.

“The job of the Department of Defense is to keep America safe from our enemies. But we can’t do that if some of those enemies lie within our own ranks,” he continued.

In his meeting Wednesday, the defense secretary told military leaders that while the numbers may be small, it is “not an insignificant problem.”

“No matter what it is, it is … not an insignificant problem and has to be addressed,” Kirby told reporters.

Still, he noted during his press gaggle, “The vast majority of men and women who serve in uniform and the military are doing so with honor, integrity and character, and do not espouse the sorts of beliefs that lead to the kind of conduct that can be so detrimental to good order and discipline and in fact is criminal.”

Former CBP Commissioner: Biden creating 'catastrophic' post-pandemic border crisis

Mark Morgan says states should start making their own immigration laws to help counter the crisis.

Warning that President Biden's executive orders on immigration are creating what will be a "catastrophic" border crisis after the COVID-19 pandemic passes, former acting Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Mark Morgan is urging states to take the lead in containing the fallout.

In 2019, "because of the loopholes and the broken immigration system," CBP and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) "had to release 500,000 illegal immigrants into the country," Morgan told the John Solomon Reports podcast. In 2020, by contrast, "that number for CBP is less than 1,000," he said.

Morgan fears that the number of illegal immigrants entering the country could spike to 3,500 per day under Biden, should his administration curb the authority currently being exercised by the CDC under Title 42 to suspend entries into the U.S. from countries rife with a communicable disease.

"It will be catastrophic," Morgan said. "Our system will be overwhelmed, our facilities will be maxed out. And who's going to be in the middle of that? Border Patrol. Who's going to be on the end of everybody blaming them and coming after them? It's going to be United States Border Patrol and CBP as a whole. And it's absolutely unconscionable. It's absolutely preventable."

Morgan said that under Biden the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has failed to use Title 42 authority to prevent unaccompanied minors from crossing the border.

"Open border advocates," Morgan said, "could say 'Hey, look, DHS, you have the authority to use Title 42 in the middle of a global pandemic when it comes to unaccompanied minors, but you chose not to. So if it's not an issue for the minors, then why is it an issue for adults?' They're actually handing them more fuel to go and challenge Title 42."

The Biden administration "is becoming an active participant in encouraging, incentivizing, and facilitating illegal migration," Morgan said.

"With a stroke of a pen, within two hours of taking office," he added, Biden "made our borders less secure, our country less safe, and has endangered the men and women on the frontlines of our borders protecting our nation, and he's continuing to double down on it."

The Biden administration knows that "politically, they can't get rid of ICE," Morgan continued. "But he's basically systematically taken all their enforcement authorities away."

To preempt or contain the coming border crisis, Morgan urged going to "your state legislator, your governor, your AG" to encourage them to enforce border security, citing as an example of effective state action Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's lawsuit that prevented the Biden administration from ceasing deportations.

"States are gonna have to step up and pass their own legislation to be able to address this," Morgan said. "The problem is, it's a resource issue, you know, even a state like the great state of Texas, they don't have the resources."

I hope there are still good NCOS left that know the oath is to the Constitution not the government and when it’s time to shoot the colonels.

Pffft, not true at all. I am this weekend going to show my intolerance for drug dealers by showing up an old folks home with signs containing some very stern warnings. VERY. STERN.

The government isn't worried about any uprising, because they have basically done what they want for the last several years with no pushback. I am pretty sure HR 127 is going to pass. And most of the nation will shrug and dutifully obey.

I of course will, though no effect on me really since guns scare me. Ammunition too. I depend on fast response by 9-1-1 and the threat of a sternly-worded letter for my protection.

I hope there are still good NCOS left that know the oath is to the Constitution not the government and when it’s time to shoot the colonels.

I have seen literally zero evidence to support that possibility. Police arresting restaurant owners, patrolling the Capitol, standing by while mobs destroy private businesses. It never seems to go the way I thought it would when I was young. And in my 20's. And 30's. And 40's.

Another executive order on mask wearing....

One order will require mask-wearing in airports and on certain modes of public transportation, including many trains, airplanes and intercity buses, officials said.

That was from Reuters.

So one order is for federal property. This one is for transportation. He’s gonna keep signing orders on masks.

And in case I need to make myself clear....it’s not about masks. It’s about chipping away at individual liberties.

Got mine Lyn..............

Saudis raise prices of U.S. oil shipments
By ANTHONY DI PAOLA on 2/4/2021
(Bloomberg) --Saudi Arabia kept oil pricing for its main market of Asia unchanged in March, after a key OPEC+ committee expressed confidence that the oil market is re-balancing.

State oil producer Saudi Aramco raised prices for all grades sold to customers in the U.S. and Europe.

The nation surprised markets last month by announcing plans to unilaterally slash 1 million barrels a day of oil supply in February and March. The pledge has helped buoy benchmark Brent crude by almost 15% this year to around $59 a barrel.

Even so, refiners’ profit margins are tight, with the latest virus waves curbing fuel use in many major economies.

Aramco raised all pricing to the U.S. by 10 cents a barrel. Prices to Europe increased by $1.30 or $1.40 a barrel. Its key Arab light grade for Asia will remain at a $1 premium to the benchmark it uses.
