The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

Liberals aren't Americans? John F. Kennedy wasn't an American?

So let's see about JFK and today's liberalism.

  • Tax decreases, basically for the upper income taxpayers. Trump, Reagan ... and Kennedy? Check.
  • Virulent anti-Communist? Reagan, Kennedy ... check.
  • Used American military to fight communism in distant countries? Reagan, Kennedy ... check.
  • Use military to exterminate sworn enemy of United States overseas? Trump, Kennedy ... check.
  • Favored business-friendly reduction of regulations to let American companies boom and dominate? Reagan, Trump, Kennedy ... check.
  • Preach self-reliance and making yourself better, rather than relying on government largess? Reagan, Trump, Kennedy ... check.
  • Favor reasonable limits even on LEGAL immigration due to the fact that the United States "no longer needs settlers for virgin lands," and our "economy is growing more slowly" than it was during the 19th and early 20th centuries? Trump, Kennedy ... check.
  • Criticize and dismiss party affiliation as the be-all, end-all, and instead focus on what is the right answer? Reagan, Trump, Kennedy ... check.
  • Oppose trade barriers so that United States products could be shipped overseas and the U.S. economy benefit? Reagan, Trump, Kennedy ... check. Kennedy held that belief even while the U.S. economy had a massive trade SURPLUS.

So Tibs, Kennedy today would be the target of massive protests, and antifasshole riots, and burning cars, and on and on.

I have written that I would of course vote for a (D), if he or she held views like Kennedy or Truman. Why? Because those (D)'s were principled, well-grounded, cared about America more than they did Europe or Asia, looked after American citizens, and implemented policies that saw America become a great superpower.

Policies - tax cuts, reducing regulations, opposition to our foreign enemies, use of force overseas when necessary, reasonable legal immigration policies, opposition to trade barriers on U.S. goods, promotion of self-reliance and not reliance on government - that Reagan and Trump implemented, to make America vastly STRONGER than it was under Truman and Kennedy.

Fact.

The fact of the matter is Andrew Gillum - the Dem candidate for governor of Florida, is a smart, decent man. No need to baselessly attack and ostracize him, as Trump and the right is doing. Really, the simple fact he's a liberal Democrat makes you squimish? For the GOP you have Trump cockholster Ron DeSantis, pretty much a racist ******* from what I've seen from him. Easy choice, you vote for the better, smarter man. That's how it should be. Screaming 'liberals, liberals!' in horror makes Trump and the right look small and petty.

Today's (D)'s are an embarrassment to the nation and the living, breathing, undeniable embodiment of small and petty.

Shout down opposing views? (D)'s - check, (R) no.
Attack and maul political opponents? (D)'s - check, (R) no.
Slander political opponents? (D)'s - check, (R) no.
Whine and sob and weep - literally - over election results? (D)'s - check, (R) no.
Refuse to accept election results? (D)'s - check, (R) no.
Demand that the population accept a guy wearing a dress as normal? (D)'s - check, (R) no.

The list goes on and on, but frankly spoiled, whining (D)'s just aren't worth the time to add to the list.

Couple weeks ago Gillum started running this ad with a bunch of crap at the end, sped up so fast you can't read it. If any Evelyn Wood graduates can keep up, do share.

It repeats all of the first messages and ends with "Impeach Trump."

My daughter made the volleyball team at her middle school. Before the games they play the National Anthem. They've only had two so far. All the kids from both teams stand and face the flag. So do the adults in the stands, most of us with hands on hearts. It is dead silent while the music is playing. After it's over all the kids clap and cheer. It's awesome.

Trump rally tonight in Indiana.

The New Confederacy!

The South Will Rise Again ... but they will need other people’s money!

Gillum: Medicare for All Won’t Work in Florida Alone, We’d Need ‘Confederation of States’

Tallahassee Mayor and Florida Democratic Gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum said that for Florida to do a Medicare for all system, “we would have to do it as a confederation of states. We could not do it by ourselves solely here in the state of Florida.”

“I think for Florida to move in that direction, we would have to do it as a confederation of states. We could not do it by ourselves solely here in the state of Florida. Because it would collapse the system. We would only attract the sickest of patients and it wouldn’t work. But could you imagine if we could team up with the states of New York, California, Florida, maybe even Texas even, Illinois, and other progressive-thinking states and bargain on behalf of the citizens?”

Italy Vows To Work With Hungary To Stop Migration

During talks in Milan this week, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Salvini and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban agreed to work together to end the mass migration into the European Continent from North Africa and the Middle East, which has destroyed Europe’s security and threatens its Christian heritage.

The two leaders pledged to extend their movement in Europe “that excludes socialists and the left, that brings back to the center the values and identity”.

“We are near a historic change on a continental level,” declared Salvini.

“We agreed that the most important issue is migration,” Orban said. “Europe needs a new European Commission and parliament that stand up for the protection of borders and stopping migration.”

They also both got shot and we still do not know the complete story of JFKs assassination ...Something that Jackie Kennedy said when someone asked her why she had not changed her blood covered clothes the next day, is really troubling. She said "I want them to see what they have done to Jack". Who was the "they"? Who knows but soon afterwards many of JFK's policies were discontinued and the country took a sharp turn to the left.

The moral of the story is, don't F with the establishment and if you do, you'd better watch your back. I hope Trump can blow the entire lid off the thing and expose the rot that exists on both sides of the aisle.

Newt crushes it! (Trigger alert, Tibs)

Newt Gingrich: Trump keeps racking up the victories, despite liberal media's desperate efforts

In the middle of the liberal media’s desperate efforts to convince us that President Trump is in trouble, there are an amazing number of victories that suggest he is winning. In fact, there are indications that he is winning a lot.

Let’s start with Tuesday’s primaries. In Florida, a fine, well-entrenched state Agriculture Commissioner and former U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam decisively lost the Republican gubernatorial primary to Rep. Ron DeSantis. The big boost for DeSantis came from President Trump’s endorsement and a Trump robocall to Florida Republicans.

The contest for governor of our third-most populous state shaped up even better for Republicans as a hard-left Bernie Sanders-backed progressive – Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum – won the Democratic primary with 34 percent of the vote. The contrast between a pro-Trump DeSantis and Gillum will probably keep Florida in Republican hands in November.

Florida gave President Trump and Republicans a second boost as GOP Gov. Rick Scott won an important primary victory for a U.S. Senate seat. Scott has proven in his two campaigns for governor that he is an aggressive, effective campaigner. It is very likely the blue wave in Florida will disappear with the DeSantis and Scott victories.

It is clear that the president’s judicial and economic victories build his prestige, and that prestige is giving him the muscle to reshape the Republican Party.

In Arizona, President Trump won another primary victory when Martha McSally, a congresswoman and Air Force veteran (in fact, the first American woman to fly a fighter jet in combat) won the Republican U.S. Senate nomination.

President Trump praised McSally earlier this month at the signing ceremony for the National Defense Authorization Act. What looked at one time to be a close contest became a blowout, as McSally won 52 percent of the vote in a three-way race and was 24 points ahead of her closest competitor. Republican chances of keeping the Arizona seat are dramatically better with McSally as the nominee.

Beyond the primaries, President Trump has been winning amazing victories in nominating – and with the leadership of Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., getting the Senate to confirm – federal judges. Where Hillary Clinton would have nominated radical judges, President Trump has been consistently nominating constitutional conservatives to the courts. This will have a profound impact on America’s future.

So far, President Trump and McConnell have confirmed 60 federal judges – this includes Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, 33 district court judges, and 26 court of appeals judges.

Additionally, President Trump has nominated more than 80 other judges across the federal system (including Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh). McConnell has been doggedly working to get these nominees confirmed, and I suspect he will drive them through the Senate before the end of the year.

So on judges, President Trump is winning an amazing victory for conservatism. No wonder the left is in a frenzy.

Finally, the breakthrough in trade negotiations with Mexico is, to use one of President Trump’s favorite words, huge.

Most of the so-called experts had said the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) couldn’t be renegotiated. They insisted President Trump had offended Mexicans so much with his harsh language that the Mexican government wouldn’t come to the table. They asserted building the border wall would alienate the Mexican leaders. They were just plain wrong.

President Trump’s progress on NAFTA sends five big signals:
Making good on a big, disruptive pledge that set his 2016 campaign apart from every other candidate, the president kept his word and is forcing a difficult negotiation toward success.
President Trump proved, once again, that tough language and tough negotiating can actually lead to breakthroughs. Unlike most politicians, Trump is willing to endure heat to achieve success.
As a result of his seriousness on trade, other countries are now approaching President Trump about trade negotiations (note German Chancellor Merkel’s call this week for trade talks).
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tried to be clever when he ambushed and attempted to embarrass President Trump during a press conference at the G-7 Summit in Canada. Trudeau is now discovering that Trump has a good memory. Canada now has virtually no leverage in trying to play catch-up with the U.S.-Mexico negotiations.
The Trump administration’s continued attention to economic matters – despite the liberal media’s daily efforts to get him and his team off-balance through dishonest reporting and smear stories – is paying off. The average American sees the economy getting better and better. And the average American increasingly thinks the success is due to President Trump.
It is clear that the president’s judicial and economic victories build his prestige, and that prestige is giving him the muscle to reshape the Republican Party.

It is an amazing story. No one in the liberal mainstream media apparently understands, but historians will look back on this period in amazement.

They will clearly see a political-cultural battle between an aggressive, effective, successful president and a disoriented, defeated and demoralized news media.

Clearly, President Trump is winning.

Yawn. Trump is going to jail. He slept with that ***** ya know. Then he paid her to sign a NDA, the *******. String him up.

CNN is taking it in the *** today.

The hatred and extreme bias of me by @CNN has clouded their thinking and made them unable to function. But actually, as I have always said, this has been going on for a long time. Little Jeff Z has done a terrible job, his ratings suck, & AT&T should fire him to save credibility!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 30, 2018

What’s going on at @CNN is happening, to different degrees, at other networks - with @NBCNews being the worst. The good news is that Andy Lack(y) is about to be fired(?) for incompetence, and much worse. When Lester Holt got caught fudging my tape on Russia, they were hurt badly!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 30, 2018

I just cannot state strongly enough how totally dishonest much of the Media is. Truth doesn’t matter to them, they only have their hatred & agenda. This includes fake books, which come out about me all the time, always anonymous sources, and are pure fiction. Enemy of the People!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 30, 2018

.@cnn, Bernstein defend himself by explaining how his story says Lanny Davis declined to comment, yet Lanny Davis himself has apologized for being an anonymous source who inaccurately confirmed the story’s premise? Is Lanny Davis now lying to make himself look bad?! Absurd!

— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) August 30, 2018

“CNN you just lied again by saying you don’t lie. You said Lanny Davis declined to comment when he was in fact a source,” Trump Jr. wrote. “Are you kidding me with this BS. Do you have any journalistic credibility at all? I mean seriously??? You’re a joke!!!”

He continued: “This is @CNN. Quadrupling down when even the likes of buzzfeed and the Amazon WaPo have acknowledged the story was #fakenews. Ballsy... Stupid, but ballsy. You do you CNN.”

Uh yeah, I can imagine that. For the very same reasons it would collapse their systems too.

President Trump cancels scheduled civilian pay raises for most federal employees

In a letter to House and Senate leaders, Trump claimed "federal agency budgets cannot sustain such increases."

President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he was canceling pay raises for most federal employees that had been set to go into effect in January, citing government budget concerns.

In a letter to House and Senate leaders, Trump wrote that he’d decided “across-the-board” pay raises as well as locality pay raises for civilian federal workers in 2019 would be frozen.

“I have determined that for 2019, both across‑the‑board pay increases and locality pay increases will be set at zero,” he wrote. “These alternative pay plan decisions will not materially affect our ability to attract and retain a well‑qualified Federal workforce,” Trump added.

In the letter, Trump said a 25.7-percent pay raise for localities, as well as a 2.1-percent pay increase for across-the-board pay, both scheduled for January 2019, would add billions to the federal deficit. Specifically, he pointed to the scheduled locality pay raise as costing $25 billion.

“We must maintain efforts to put our Nation on a fiscally sustainable course, and Federal agency budgets cannot sustain such increases,” Trump wrote in the letter.

Well, that stinks. I could have used that money.

That's across the board pay raises which only seem to exist within government agencies. I'm sure merit based pay raises will still be honored. Personally I don't see how just being on the payroll guarantees a raise no matter if you do your job well or just show up on Fridays to collect a check.

If he can get the US govt to run like a business, and get the deficit headed in the other direction by cutting out the waste maybe I would go see him at a rally.

But hey, I remember how much government employees were hammered during the 2008-2009 downturn. Weren't thousands fired, like the rest of us??

No? But government employees suffered a massive reduction of benefits, including health insurance and retirement, right? No again.

Hmm. Interesting ...

President Trump holds packed campaign rally in Indiana

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is making a midterm election push in Indiana on Thursday as Republicans seek to unseat vulnerable Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly.

The president tweeted Thursday that Braun is “a very successful businessman,” adding that he “is strong on Crime & Borders, the 2nd Amendment, and loves our Military & Vets.”

Trump plans to spend more than 40 days out campaigning between the beginning of August and the Nov. 6 midterms. Campaign manager Brad Parscale says in a statement that Trump “will fight harder than any candidate on the ballot over the next 67 days to get out the vote.”

According to reports, there was a three mile long line for those waiting to get into the event.
