The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

25.7% pay raise? Our government sure is generous with OUR money and unrealistic too. Good for Trump. ( Sorry Sarge)

It isn't a 25.7% pay raise. That was for locality pay, which for me, living in upstate New York amounts to about $1100 a year before the increase. The actual pay raise was 2.1%, probably not even in line with inflation. A 25.7% pay increase? I wish.

I'm not really all that broken up about it considering we knew back in January that the increase was going to be frozen, so this really isn't news. I guess this just makes it official.

That's across the board pay raises which only seem to exist within government agencies. I'm sure merit based pay raises will still be honored. Personally I don't see how just being on the payroll guarantees a raise no matter if you do your job well or just show up on Fridays to collect a check.

If he can get the US govt to run like a business, and get the deficit headed in the other direction by cutting out the waste maybe I would go see him at a rally.

Actually, in the last year or so, they have tightened up. It used to be kind of a nudge-nudge wink-wink type thing that it was nearly impossible to get fired from a government job. I have seen probably 5-6 people fired in the last 8-12 months, which in the past was unheard of. On top of that, our footprint (slots for personnel employees) has been reduced by about 30%. Our sister agencies (AMCOM, JMCOM) have been hit even harder. The only one that hasn't is CECOM, and somehow they are managing to increase their personnel numbers, yet you can never find any of them. The rules on government employment are changing, and in most ways for the better. Agencies are trimming the fat, and I would argue that is a good thing.

Hello, Post Office.....I swear to all that's holy that those employees are the worst gov't employees ever.

My vote goes to IRS auditors and the slugs in the EPA who are responsible for endorsing products. And of course the swamp dwellers. The mailmen don't bother me much. I don't really deal with paper mail anymore.

I try to avoid the Post Office at all costs. However, when I do have to go, it is the most miserable experience. One window open, and the line is out the door. The person working the window is either an old shriveled **** or an arrogant douche who takes his misery out on you. And heaven forbid you have to ask them to retrieve a package from the back....its the apocalypse.

Most of them are handicapped too. Nothing wrong with that, just an observation. It adds time and pain to the overall experience.

Damn, y'all need to move out to the country. My post office seldom has more than two cars in the lot and all the people that work there are courteous, efficient and quick. My postal delivery lady is on a first name basis and will walk large packages up to the porch.

Lyn..I'll betcher momma says the same..lol

There's little town on Grand Cayman called Hell. They have a little post office and you can send cards and letters from Hell. It's a ****** place too, lots of black lava.

Another one of those devastating lies by Trump?

This is possibly a lie yes. Made by you though. Doubt Trump said that. Your obsession with Trump is glaring, making you look more and more foolish with every post. Take a couple days off. Settle down and take hold of yourself..

Heard they call it "Little Hungary".

These libs are really stupid. They are all of a sudden seriously concerned about the deficit, but when Trump refers to the deficit as a serious economic condition, they somehow think that it is a contradiction for him to call it that while we have a booming economy.

Why do you care anyway? You dont even live here.
:jagoff:

...when Trump refers to the deficit as a serious economic condition

Trump has spent over $100,000,000 of tax payer’s money on golf trips. Let that sink in, as you wipe a tear from your eye as he refers to the deficit as 'a serious economic conditiion'.

Budget Deficits Are Only Getting Bigger under Trump

And the administration continues to spend money with reckless abandon. Recently, for example, the president suggested a fund to pay farmers for the losses caused by the president’s trade policies. Entitlement reform remains entirely off the table.

President Trump’s supporters like to point out that he does things differently than previous presidents. No doubt. Unfortunately, however, when it comes to big spending and fiscal irresponsibility, President Trump is as conventional as they come.

I think that number is probably bullshit but I'm not going to fact check it because it doesn't matter to this, whatever this is. You libs just can't land on a rational argument against Trump. You say stupid ****, then when you get called on it, you say some other stupid ****, as if that validates your previous stupid ****.

Ha ha, splitting hairs, that's all you do. You guys should open up an SN-Trump barbershop.

The fact is, after spending the entire campaign criticizing Obama and harping on the fact he would be too busy to take time off or go golfing, Trump literally spends his entire weekends on his golf courses, usually taking off Fri to get a jump out of town. That's basically all he does is golf, hold rah rah rallies for his base and of course send out imbecilic tweets at all hours of the day. He's a ******* disaster.

But you desperately cling to the mirage that none of this is happening, that Trump is a statesman and a good President. Knock yourself out.

From your link:

We do not know exactly how many days Trump has golfed, and we do not know how much has been paid by taxpayers for his golf outings.

So yes, the $100M figure is probably high, it's likely closer to $80M, but who knows for sure? Also, the actual cost is not the point. It's the fact that Trump is the biggest hypocrite on earth. And that he's running up the federal deficit at an alarming rate, golfing or no golfing.

Trump trips are bad, Obama trips were good.

Oh, I forgot we're not supposed to look at the past, history needs to be rewritten on a daily basis now.

It's official: U.S. ends funding to Palestinian refugees

The State Department officially announced on Friday that the United States is ending its funding to UNRWA, the UN agency for “Palestinian refugees”.

“The Administration has carefully reviewed the issue and determined that the United States will not make additional contributions to UNRWA," State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said in a statement.

“When we made a U.S. contribution of $60 million in January, we made it clear that the United States was no longer willing to shoulder the very disproportionate share of the burden of UNRWA's costs that we had assumed for many years. Several countries, including Jordan, Egypt, Sweden, Qatar, and the UAE have shown leadership in addressing this problem, but the overall international response has not been sufficient,” she added.

“Beyond the budget gap itself and failure to mobilize adequate and appropriate burden sharing, the fundamental business model and fiscal practices that have marked UNRWA for years - tied to UNRWA's endlessly and exponentially expanding community of entitled beneficiaries - is simply unsustainable and has been in crisis mode for many years. The United States will no longer commit further funding to this irredeemably flawed operation,” the statement continued.

This Nazi President is very pro-Israel. I wonder why a Nazi would be so beloved by the Israelis?

He is beloved by Israelis, but not American Jews. Figure that one out.

We have a food grade product that requires kosher certification and we get audited annually to maintain it. The Rabbi auditor is a good friend of mine and we have had in depth talks about this. He loves Trump. I think it’s the coastal yentas who sqwauk loudly that makes us believe American Jews are anti-Trump. I think most of the Jews in America are of the Lieberman Independent/conservative mold and Trump will win their votes in ‘20. They sure as hell aren’t going to vote for another Islamic terrorist loving socialist.

The Jews on the coasts are Democrats/Liberals first and Jews second. Anti-Semitism is on the Democrat side, plus the Dems side more and more with the Muzzies, but the Jews keep coming back for more.
