Damn that is spot on. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Even those with the best of intentions given a position of power long enough will become corrupted or blinded by it.

Being this is NYC and the fact that I am a pessimist, I fully expect him to be convicted. Folks aren't interested in justice. If they were, this never would have come to trial.

Bongino's opinion is that the Dems are allowing this as a way to get Joe to step down and show him that he's unfit for office.
Personally I hope he breaks down at the debate and starts screaming at his Secret Service detail to shoot Trump.

He will receive the questions weeks ahead of time. Trump won't. Joe's handlers will write the answers and coach him on reciting them. They will cut Trumps microphone off. But I think Trump will just talk loudly in Joe's direction to fluster him. It will work. Joe gets flustered easily.
