The rumors are starting...

Just curious, what makes you think Omar Kahn doesn’t know he is in the driver’s seat? Mr. Kahn knows more about football than a very lot of people, including you.

Trust in Kahn, that if there is a deal made, it will benefit the STEELERS. Hold your worrying as it’s in good hands.

I kind of doubt they move Russ, unless the deal is very very good. We are paying near nothing and in a couple weeks, his trade value will increase as well as we will have a better view of the Fields long term.

Add in the “NO” trade clause………

Salute the nation
In Khan we trust

I have a feeling Russ would wave the no trade clause in a minute if it meant he had a clear opportunity to a starting role

He looks pretty frustrated on the sidelines watching Fields improve week after week.

Are we sure OldeRuss could pass the necessary physical?

Fields is proving himself. Russ has proved nothing in a steelers uniform. Trade him for something premium would be genius. He has no value to us at seasons end.

Steelers 3-0 start changes everything. Not just a lucky 3-0 where you played bad teams or won on fluke play, but solid wins. You could say they were dominant vs the chargers. This is despite having OL injuries and being without Roman Wilson. That means this team should only get better.

The Steelers are real contenders this year. The dolphins show the danger of not having a good backup QB. I do think Kyle Allen is a decent backup in this system so I’m not against trading Wilson, but you better get something big for him.

I would trade him for Waddle or Tyreek. Or I’d trade him for a 2nd rounder, no less. Are those trades fair for Miami? No but that’s what it would cost to make yourself thin at QB while you have playoff expectations.
Define "solid wins". They were wins but we scored one touchdown in the first two games. The defense has kept us in games. As far as being contenders, the ceiling for this team is around 11-6 with a possible first round win and the divisional games are backloaded. I don't see us getting by teams like KC or Buffalo in the playoffs unless there are serious injuries.

Phins trade us Waddle and a second round pick. we then march into Christmas 15-0 against the 15-0 Chiefs at which time we destroy the Chiefs on our way to a 20-0 record. hence we will have **** ed the Dolphins twice in the same season.

Yes I have been drinking but everyday is Saturday to me, so why not.
Nah, they'll lose on Christmas ;)

Also keep in mind. RW is not going to be a Steeler next year. He was a one year rental. Like in the NHL, and 1 year rentals get moved all the time at the trade deadline. Football has been more active since they moved it back a few weeks. Week 9 during our bye. Plenty of time for Khan to tinker for our playoff run.

Barrios is a career slot who has played in every game but one in his career since 2018.
They have OBJ
Malik Washington was a stud at UVA last year. 1400+yds 9TDs 110 Catches in 12 games! Dude is an X at his size and reception targets. He is the replacement for Waddle.

Also with the writing on the wall, if Fields is starter over RW, he will OK any trade clause so he can play to make some $$ next offseason.
LOL you just made my point.
None of these guys have even recorded a catch this season.
Barrios has averaged 1 catch per game for his entire career
OBJ has 35 catches since 2021
Malik Washington is a 6th round rookie who hasn't played

Zero behind Hill and Waddle
