The "Way too early" Playoff picture

Patriots
Jets
Titans
Raiders
Jaguars
Browns
Delphins

9 dogs for 7 bones left standing IMO.
A win tomorrow nite will go a long way for us.

Get it done Russ!!!!

Yeah a win tomorrow drops the magic playoff number to 8...
hard to really make any division predictions since we haven't played anyone yet, but a win tomorrow gives us a generic 1 game lead

Cinci lost today... which is good because they have two games with us.. a win tomorrow keeps us 1 game ahead of them even if they swept us
Indy lost, but they have that damn tiebreaker, so we must win 1 more game than them

Baltimore or us are winning the division, So to absolutely stay in the top 7 we have to stay ahead of one of Indy, Denver, and La..

Since indy has 4 losses, and the chargers and Denver only have 3,
If we win tomorrow, the highest win total achievable for LA and denver is 14 games. If we tie them we beat them. The highest for Indy is 13 games ...

If we win tomorrow, that gives us six wins.. we would need a combination of 8 wins with losses from one of the three teams listed above..

There is still a chance that one of the lower team climbs into the playoff picture, but its going to be real hard if we reach 6-2 for a 2-6 or even a 3-5 team to catch up in 9 games

Way too early to be way too complicated, lol.

The magic number for tge playoffs is currently 9 and will drop to 8 with a win tonight.. not that complicated
No, it's not that complicated but you are running crazy scenarios way too early. It's about eliminating teams, not saying you need to get to 14 wins or whatever as that garbage isn't happening. You do you, but what you are presenting is silly talk.

PS, you're basically saying the same thing I am in a different way since you still have the same teams in it as I do. smh

The AFC has a 18-25 non-conference record. I wouldn’t be surprised if the last AFC wild card seed has a losing record.

Way to early silly talk.

I was thinking next year, when the schedule comes out, start playoff scenarios for 2025?

Too complicated for you to comprehend, Bluegrass???

As are all of your posts

At the moment the only team that can cost the Steelers a playoff spot is the Steelers. Keep winning and the worst they can do is second in the AFC. Chiefs are still to play Bills and Texans (the only three teams in AFC that can finish with equal or better win/loss record if Steelers win out). If Steelers win out, only Kansas can finish with a better win/loss record, in which case Houston and Texans would have a worse win/loss record than Steelers. Steelers would have tie breaker over Chiefs (head to head) and Bills (conference). Texans win out they have tiebreaker over Steelers (conference record) and Chiefs would have at least two losses.

How nice for you to catch up with Mad; glad you can understand that what you call silly in one post is exactly the same as your logic in this thread, and that you were able to figure that out all by your loneself.

yeah they're in the NFC, but it's fun to cross them off early.....so I shall. With Philly up next and Dak out, put a fork in em'.

COWGIRLS

why even run scenarios where the Steelers win out? lol. smh. This is "The way to early, but realistic" playoff thread.
