The "Way too early" Playoff picture

way to early to say that. wait. no its not
So here is the great thing now. The Jets went from potentially being 3-4 with us at 4-3 and having a tiebreaker over us, to 2-5, 3 games back of us and we have the tiebreaker... effectively ending them as a threat to our playoff picture
As it is, we are up 1/2 game in the division until the rats play tomorrow
for the wild card we have an effective 1 game lead on LA but only cause they have two games in hand on us... but we have the tiebreaker there... we also have a one game lead on Denver plus the tiebreaker... we have a one game lead on indy but they have the tiebreaker
We have a two game lead on the Bengals
We just picked up a key part of the tiebreaking stuff vs Miami if they made a run when Tua gets back..
Basically, while 5-2 teams do miss the playoffs, we have a lot of key points tied up to make that really hard to envision

Take care of business next week. Go four and two vs. The division with tie breaks vs. Chargers and Broncos and you are in. But they need more. A lot more.
Yea, we've "made" the playoffs before, let's see if we can win in them.

Miami joins this list with a loss this week to Arizona.
Cincinnati is right on the edge if they lose to Philadelphia but can't count them out just yet even if they fall to 3-5.

We had the luxury of having a few games won handily by Pgh, I don't expect that to keep up but who knows in this Tomlin-handcuff-reduced team?

They did look good. Cautiously optomistic that we can score at or over 30/game.
That's only if Shades stays out of the way. Hard to say.

Need the Jets to lose today to completely eliminate them and to give the Patriots a win as they need to win a few so they dont get the 1 or 2 pick in the draft.
I think key games are Philly Cinci and Houston Indy
