This is police brutality

Nobody wants to address it because it puts personal responsibility on people. Can't have that. White man and orange man bad. Institutional racism (even when blacks are in charge), systemic racism (even when blacks are in charge), and governmental racism (even when blacks are in charge) are what they want to focus on.

BTW it was a white liberal woman and a black police chief that kept him on the force.

And don't forget racism in policing even when the police are black.... More cases (statistically based on overall police) of police violence against unarmed suspects is by black police officers than white police officers.

Yeah man, that's what street uprisings look like. That's how people react, and I'd be among them if this **** was going down around me.:bolt::bolt::yield::blah::yield:

Those are all Democrat run cities. What exactly is Trump supposed to do. Declare martial law and take over the cities? I don't get what more you can ask of him without cooperation from the mayors and governors. States rights.

When did I blame any of this on Trump? I said he sounds like a moron. In fact, I think I gave him credit for speaking out. And I’m pretty sure I specifically stated governors and mayors need to do more. Good Lord.

TDS is starting to cut both ways anymore.

Riots for thee but not for me.

Who would've thought we'd ever get to this? Is Trump gonna scream 'get those sons of ******* out of there?'

Trump has not said or done nearly enough, or the right things. He has no empathy. He could totally reach out, show some empathy and make things somewhat better but instead he acts like a petulant child.

Sad thing is the alternative is Joe Biden. We are ******. I honestly wish Trump would just step down and let Pence take over. At least somebody somewhat mentally competent. We need a competent adult in charge right now.

Imagine..how all this all could have been avoided if more football players had knelt during the National Anthem...

Get that *******'s picture off the same page as George Floyd. Floyd was against this kind of violence from everything I've read. Kaperdick endorses it "We have a right to fight back".

Then why didn't he go to a police station somewhere and lead a protest? He protested by kneeling for the anthem. So many of us relate that to the men and women who have sacrificed all for this country. That is why is wasn't embraced. I know the problems this country has, but the anthem represents all of those people who fought and died for the ideals this country is supposed to have. And we have had, better than any damn country in the world, and that is just fact. And then, to top it off, the dumbass doesn't vote. That Kaepernick is thought of as a hero or something now is sickening. I have no problem with his right to kneel, I have a problem with his just expecting everyone to agree with it.

In my opinion Trump has one chance to save his presidency. He better get on TV tonight and read the best ******* speech anyone (not him) has ever written straight from the teleprompter, and then go home and go dark on social media.

Otherwise say hello to President Gropey Sleepy Racist Joe.

I get people are angry, but governors and mayors also have a responsibility to protect those that aren’t out there destroying ****.
Absolutely. Its on the local leadership to handle this, not the President.

My point is that this doesn't have anything to with Trump, he can neither control it or stop it. Many Presidents before him have had to deal with the same issues.

He's been tweeting crazy **** for 3-1/2 years, and I couldn't care less. Because he governs exactly as he should be governing, and thats all that matters.

Yeah man, that's what street uprisings look like.

Protesting is as old as America herself. Sometimes things spin out of control. Hopefully this continues to evolve into a peaceful movement, and that includes on part of the police and national guard being deployed around the country.

No, that's not all that matters. The country needs a leader right now. Time for him to act like one.

But I just don't think he's capable of it. He is in way over his head.

That's gotta be one of the weakest, most limp-wristed defenses ever of a sitting President during a time of national calamity. If this is how his own base is looking at it, Trump is indeed in a world of trouble right now, a few short months before he asks Americans to re-elect him, for being... an...um...cough...great leader of the country.

Why? When has a President's speech ever ended a riot? You're asking him to somehow do something that NO OTHER President ha EVER been able to do.

Dude, you're credibility here is toast. No one gives flying **** what you think, just go away.

We need more of this, and less looting and rioting. At the WH right now...

The Bible says in Romans Chapter 13 that "rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil."

In America now, the government has become a terror to good works like earning a living, going to church, supporting local business, etc. The same cities that had the strictest Covid-1984 lockdowns now have the most permissible policies on looting, violence, and arson.

The only way for this to stop is not to have some mythical "conversation" with Antifa or similar voices of anarchy.

This all ends when government decides to fulfill its rightful function as a "a terror to evil works." These vermin should be on the run now and fearing for their lives and safety after what they have wrought on top of Covid-1984.

Our government bears the sword in vain:

"For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil."
