According to FOXNews, the report is expected to state that investigating the Trump campaign was justified, but there is at least one document that was falsified.

I find it interesting. The IG found that the investigation was justified. Curious to see what the whole report yields. I know some folks are already calling Horowitz a swamp creature because he didn't "side" with Trump, but he isn't. I guess Durham's investigation is about all that's left. I doubt this is what Trump was expecting. Twitter should be a blast.

Fizzle..........like every one of these bombshell releases over the last 3 years.

Just do the job you were elected to do.

Exactly. No one is going to be the guy that reveals the depth of corruption in our government. It would be the end of the republic.

drain the swamp, baby!!!!!

******* all caps don’t work anymore. Site’s broke.

LOL, as the world turns...maybe she has the pee tape. ;)

Yep, another big nothing-burger IMO.

On point. Sad to see the Trump/Barr house of cards fall to the wayside. It was a desperate attempt to deceive Americans, which failed miserably. Who would have guessed?

interesting. so someone can merely meet another person and they're suddenly immersed in that person's illegalities.

oh, wait. this sounds like more of a business arrangement than anything, since ... Ivanka is a bidness person and so was Steele. holy ****! IMPEACH!!!!!!!

Ivanka Trump worked as an executive vice president at the Trump Organization, managing a range of foreign real estate projects, including in parts of the world where Steele’s firm, Orbis Business Intelligence touted expertise. She and Steele discussed services Orbis could offer to the Trump Organization regarding its planned expansion into foreign markets, according to two sources familiar with the meetings.

While Steele is a Russia expert, Orbis had a broad portfolio. No formal arrangement followed.

oh ... see that ---->> No formal arrangement followed

damn. almost had him, there. again.

The IG report was never going to be anything drastic because the IG only had power to interview people that still worked for the dept. He isn't an investigator for the DOJ or FBI. All of the people he is investigating were long gone by the time he started. So I never expected much from it.

About those FISA warrants Trump & the right has been melting down over in perpetuity? /cough

As usual, Trump is so far down the rabbit hole in utter denial and psychosis, here is his reading of the report. At some point the men in white jackets may have to stick a needle in his neck and drag him down to a padded observation cell at Walter Reed.

I'll wait and read it myself. Not gonna take anyone in the media's, Trump's or Congress' word on it. Not an honest broker among them.

I hate it when facts get in the way.

Well I’m disappointed. But I should have known since there weren’t any Clinton friends committing suicide

It was a desperate attempt to deceive Americans, which failed miserably.
Something the democrats have been all-too-familiar with in the last 3 years...

The ONLY two opinions that really matter.

US Attorney from Connecticut John Durham immediately released a statement following the release of the FISA report and disputed Horowitz’s findings and conclusions.

“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened,” John Durham said in a rare statement.

US Attorney General Bill Barr also blasted the FBI on Monday in a statement
“The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken,” Barr said, adding, “It is also clear that, from its inception, the evidence produced by the investigation was consistently exculpatory.”

Wasn’t Biden Jr’s Burisma under investigation under the Obama administration? So why do Dems have a problem with further investigation?

Attorney General William P. Barr issued the following statement:

"Nothing is more important than the credibility and integrity of the FBI and the Department of Justice. That is why we must hold our investigators and prosecutors to the highest ethical and professional standards. The Inspector General’s investigation has provided critical transparency and accountability, and his work is a credit to the Department of Justice. I would like to thank the Inspector General and his team.

The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken. It is also clear that, from its inception, the evidence produced by the investigation was consistently exculpatory. Nevertheless, the investigation and surveillance was pushed forward for the duration of the campaign and deep into President Trump’s administration.

In the rush to obtain and maintain FISA surveillance of Trump campaign associates, FBI officials misled the FISA court, omitted critical exculpatory facts from their filings, and suppressed or ignored information negating the reliability of their principal source. The Inspector General found the explanations given for these actions unsatisfactory. While most of the misconduct identified by the Inspector General was committed in 2016 and 2017 by a small group of now-former FBI officials, the malfeasance and misfeasance detailed in the Inspector General’s report reflects a clear abuse of the FISA process.

Watchdog report shows FBI 'attempted overthrow' of government

“This was an overthrow of government, this was an attempted overthrow and a lot of people were in on it and they got caught, they got caught red-handed,” Trump said in the Cabinet Room at the White House during a roundtable event on education.

“I think I'm going to put this down as one of our great achievements. Because what we found and what we saw — never, ever should this happen again in our country”

horowitz and his wife are not only dims, but dim donors. horowitz used to work for comey. Does anybody really think that a fixture of the swamp is going to 'find' anything that would diminish his status with the swamp, much less write about it? horowitz is as 'real' as the shitt/nadless sideshow. It keeps dims chubby.

Barr. Durham.

Yup, that's exactly why Bill Barr hand-picked him out of a pool of thousands to lead the independant investigation. This board is literally filling up with falling snowflakes. Now that the long-awaited report is out and it's not to your liking, let the tears commence. Really tells you all you need to know about the Trump base. Not sure if it's sad, or just funny. Probably a little bit of both.

Get your facts straight. The investigation started under Sessions. No one hand picked Horowitz......he is the person tasked to do these investigations for the DOJ. When Barr realized that the scheme transcended the DOJ, he brought on Durham, who has the authority to expand the investigation, which he did.

For those who believe this report was an exoneration of the FBI and others, you are mistaken. With Durham's and Barr's statements today, we are certain to see future fireworks.

Sure, at some point in the future, between now and the infinite ends of the universe, someone, somehow will finally prove the FBI opened it's investigation into the Trump campaign based on partisan politics, leftwing overreach, Soros' involvement & money, the MSM's secret conspiracy to undermine Trump, Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood...what have you. It's out there, just need a little more time to bring the cows home.
