The standard remains the standard. On to our worst season since 1989...maybe even before that time for Tomlin. What else will change. A demotion of Bush? Not featuring Harris as a running back? Firing Canada?

I agree with that. Might I suggest Tomlin performs Harakiri on himself? It's the honorable thing to do.

I dont believe a word Tomlin says till it actually happens.
Canada should be relieved of playcalling.
Najee should sit untill healthy.
Im not really a Boykin fan, but he should be sprinkled in until CAIII can go.
Bush should not get a hat. At least Spillane can block passes with his ***.
Heyward (TE) should get more playing time
I would replace the punter as well. He is just not cutting it as a pro
 
Tomlin's MO is tho put the blame on people He seldom takes the blame for himself.

1988. Okay, so my point remains it was a long time ago.
 
You know what else needs fixed? Front office talent evaluation (yeah I know Colbert is gone). The last 5 first round picks we have....Edmunds, Bush, trade, Harris and Pickett. Too early on Pickett but those picks are not panning out. The cries over taking a RB in the first round are getting louder. Taking Freirmuth over Humphries also hurt.
 
That is a massive reach. He gave a glib and frustrated answer to the question. It was basically we are always open to changes that make us better especially after a performance like this. If he was capable of changes Devin Bush would have been gone by week three. There will be no significant changes.

This. Last time the team had a bad losing streak they fired the strength & conditioning coach and took away the ping pong table.
I'd be shocked if Shades fires anyone of consequence higher up the food and salary chain. Deuce simply isn't going to fire someone who makes a decent chunk of change like Canaduh and pay them not to work. They never have.

They may have only scored 3 points but this loss is on Tomlin and the defense. It wasn't Kenny Pickett who allowed 38 points.

Too soon to say with Pickett but the best of the lot was the trade for Fitzpatrick.

Edmunds - reach at a low value position
Bush - gave up a lot of resources to draft a tier 2 or 3 position (depends on the team) with a top-10 pick
Fitzpatrick - low value position, but an All-Pro player
Harris - the lowest value position you can take outside of special teams
Pickett - premium pick for a premium position

Not enough premium positions selected in the first round.

On offense what are we gonna do? Even if you fire Canada the next guy up has one year of play calling experience which also happens to be the worst offense of that year. We really pinned the offensive hopes on a guy with terrible college and no pro experience backed up by a guy that achieved the worst offense the one year he did have experience. I can’t even begin to say how much of a failure of epic proportions this is. The lack of hiring any decent offensive coach is just not acceptable. It really is time to clean house of the entire coaching staff. Serious level of incompetence when it comes to hiring and managing a staff. Would get you fired anywhere else in any position of leadership for any company.
 
Tomlin was asked a lot of hard questions; he was losing control. So, him making chances, who believes it.
 
I'm not sure what coaching changes you can make mid-season that are going to have a dramatic impact on this team. I'm not a big Tomlin fan but it's becoming pretty obvious that Matt Canada is a problem as our OC and it's becoming apparent that Teryl Austin who had major problems as DC Under Marvin Lewis in Cincy is not doing anything to help our Steelers Defense either. If both those guys get canned I wouldn't be upset.....The sooner the better IMO. Let Mike Sullivan take over the Offense and Brian Flores over the Defense. They really can't be any worse.
 
In order for real changes to happen and for us to get quality talent in the draft we have to lose. It’s the reality of our current situation. I’m not happy but I know this barely .500 record isn’t cutting it. For those that want Tomlin fired then he has to lose. It won’t happen otherwise.

Fire them ALL!!!!!!!! That is what changes can be made. Unfortunately, I doubt that will happen.
