Total Embarrassment

Turnovers and just plain bad play. You would have thought with the bad starts in the last games we would have came out differently on offense, no we start same way same type plays. Just hard to get. The lost opportunities, having ball inside the five and run the ball with a bunched defense. WHY OH Why?? When things are going bad is when you want the stars to show up and they did not, Ben was rushed I will give him that but when you are moving the ball and you throw to Jets coverage makes no sense and AB didn't do any of the rain dances today. Its is like the Steelers don't want the taste of winning.

Harbaugh just MOCKED the Steelers

I saw that too!! That really boils my blood! But he's right ...Steelers got their ***** kicked. I don't mind the *** kicking cause you are going to get that every once in a while but itan *** kicking by a 1-8 team who only had 3 takeaways going into this game and the Steelers gave 4. That is inexcusable!!

speaking of which, I should have cleaned my house rather than watch that mess and waste three hours of my life.

Ha...See if the last few years on Tomlin football have taught me anything it is to DVR the games, get my Sunday work done THEN watch the game afterwards. Spent 4 hours today cleaning up leaves and lawn work, instead of watching ANOTHER let down vs an inferior opponent.

You get the benefit of FF through all the commercials BS and half time show too.

And I might add I am about SICK AND EFFIN TIRED OF THESE GUYS LOSING TO SCRUBS...

So.. What did he do?

If you feel that way then find another team try the Bungles you sound just like their fans.

He shouldn't feel this way? Tomlins three years of this same **** and DSteel should go find another team to root for? **** off dipshit. With that I am a better fan than you bullshit.

Preparation is on the coaches and these guys were NOT prepared to play today.

How do you KNOW they werent prepared to play ? Could you honestly look into a team of players eyes or watch body language to know beforehand if they were prepared to play ? Coaches coach guys up, put in game plans...and they leave it up to players to execute...when they dont, bad things happen.

Bottom line is Ben, Suisham and Brown ****** the team over today. What can,you say, a coach would/should do BEFOREHAND to PREVENT what happened on the field ? Bad reads, missed kicks fumbled punts are the result of bad coaching ? Exactly how ?

We didnt lose because of bad coaching or poor preparation. We lost because we turned the ball over 4 times.....tell me how many NFL coaches win games with a -4 turn over margin ?

I get coaching can be improved in areas but stop lookin past the players man...they ****** UP significantly today

If one fan thinks this team would be playing like this if Arians was the head coach, you are ******* clueless. It is obvious what needs to be done.

We he aint here.........and neither is Cowher.....

No offense, but what the **** were you watching? The Jets shoved the ball up the defenses *** from the beginning of the game, accumulating 150 yards rushing. Yeah, they were really tenacious and physical from a defense/tackling standpoint.

These excuses for Tomlin just get old after awhile, as this type of bed ******** in these scenarios has gotten to the point of being hilariously predictable. Did Roethlisberger play like **** today? Definitely, but they've also lost these types of games when Roethlisberger has played well.

Also, let's not pretend that Haley's gameplan today, which Tomlin signed off on, was even remotely conducive to maximizing Roetlisberger's chances of succeeding.

Ben ****** up dude..........come clean about it......we had chances to win this ****** game and then he nuts up and throws two huge interceptions...that aint coachin son...that player ineptitude. Give him some (venom) too.........yall get a lil too overzealous on this coachin ****...........Suisham ****** a chip shot too...but somehow that falls to the coaching..........i just dont ****** get that

Lost to another **** team. That is the standard. Look like a clusterfuck on a wing and a prayer. That is what the Steelers have become. Losing got you down? Come play the Steelers we make bad teams with former prison convict qb's look good. en how.

BTW Arians has a veteran-savvy QB that has the ability to read defenses. Ours cannot and it affects the production at times.

the bucs and jets are 1-16 against the rest of the nfl and 2-0 against the steelers, that tells you all you need to know about his coaching 'ability '

WHAT THE **** are you talking about? First fumble (I don't think was a fumble according to the new rules anyway), Brown is just trying to make a play in traffic. First INT, great play by the D, deflects the ball up in the air, DB makes a diving catch. Second fumble, Brown trying to make a play, makes a bad choice. Second INT, Ben had too much time, and tried to be too perfect with the throw. It was a bad decision. None of these plays were because they weren't working for it.

Were they bad choices? Sure. Did they suck? Absolutely. Because they weren't working for it and buying into the hype? WHAT THE ****!??

Damnit OL!! Stop giving Ben TOO MUCH time.

Just seems we found ways to lose today.

Whatever , losing 4-6 "trap " games a year is getting old.

**** that it was old after the first one.

******* shitbag TOmlin, and Haley have got to go .

1. The execution was a prime example of poor preparation. Look into their eyes? **** look at how they played. Game plan was ****.

2. Really? Practice?! Work on game scenerios. Take away the other teams strengths. Come on.

3. They only scored 3 points off turnovers. The D was pushed around for 3 quarters of football. Yep. They looked ready.

So an extreme meltdown at all phases of the game is solely on the players? Let me quote the great coach from an article in a paper not mentioned here.
Bob Labrador asks;

Q. The Steelers have to guard against a letdown today against a New York Jets team currently riding an eight-game losing streak. Do you bring that up to the players?

A. You don't have to. It's obvious. What I do bring up to the team is that when we play well we have a chance to beat anybody, and when we play poorly anybody has a chance to beat us. That's just Football 101 in the NFL.

It was like he knew they planned poorly. Plus this isn't a one time affair. This is expected by this point. Do we draft guys who play down or up based on the opponent? If so, then that's the coaches too. They drafted them. Bottom line is that Tomlin is a poor coach and doesn't display leadership on the field. He is just hot air that rides the talent he has and seems to hope for the best.

So yes! Coaching has is a big reason we lost.

Kinda funny in a pathetic sort of way when you see it like that

Sometimes you just fail to execute. A couple questionable calls didn't help either.

The Jets TRIED to give this game back to the Steelers.....or course after we gifted it to them the first quarter. I honestly believed we would calm down and Ben would take over and at least play respectable. Nothin of the sort happened and there still was a chance in the fourth to do something and then we miss a ****** chip shot FG.

The coaching argument, i understand it, but we have to have leadership on the field and right now, we dont. Ben, i know, will take responsibility in the media for his ****** performance but ****, the dude needs to command this offense on the field and hes gonna have to stop taking sacks tryin to make big plays.....there was one sequence that epitomizes what type of mentality he has...Recall that play in the 1st quarter on 1st and 10...he drops back scrambles and instead of throwin it away, he looks still to complete the pass to Johnson for a 5-yrd loss. He either didnt have the capacity to understand Johnson would lose yardage or only wanted the completion altogether (instead of just throwing it away)..but that play cost us 5 yards ..he doesnt think and hes got one mode --a completion at any cost.

Hes been in the league 11 goddamn years and has failed to learn to get rid of the ball....and we all know why he hesitates...those open receivers are open by a mile when he launches it which leads me to believe he doesnt trust his own accuracy. If we were to play a disciplined defense with a pass rush like the Jets then we see the results. He has success when the play breaks down completely and **** becomes helter skelter downfield (as evident on the TD throw to Bryant). He rarely throws with anticipation.

Anyways, we saw his flaws come to roost today and we will see them again in time. Ben (alone) could have won this today with a modest performance.

The team came out flat, they let their O pound us right down the field. We've been blitzing and spreading the ball around the last few weeks, this week we quit blitzing and tried to run against a stout front 7, instead of throw against a ****** secondary. We came out ultra conservative, as usual against a **** team

Ben was **** all day too. Lots of blame to go around

Through all that, you havent said one damn thing about Ben or LeBeau...that defense that got pushed around, has been gettin pushed around all season....they arent very good and everyone knows that. WHich is why its up to Ben/Haley to tailor this offense to maximize output on the field and that includes, NOT TAKIN SACKS/SACKS IN THE RED ZONE, MOVIN THE CHAINS AND EATIN CLOCK TO PROTECT THE DEFENSE, SCORING POINTS AAAAND, NOT TURNING THE BALL OVER ...The last one is the sole reason we lost today...nobody wins games with a -4 turnover margin. Not even Peyton...........Ben **** the bed..Brown **** the bed..Suisham even pissed his crib....grown *** men that are capable and proven all-pros and you blame coach ..why blame him TODAY.?? Players earned this loss, not coaching
