Total Embarrassment

No, it requires snapping the ******* ball quickly. They can run the exact same plays... just quickly. This loss had a lot to do with coaches putting together a ****** game plan. The Jets have ONE good area of the team- the front 7. Their secondary sucks ***. So in order to beat them ALL the other teams that beat them hammered them in the air. The Steelers are smarter than that so they decide to run quick screens, bubble screens and short throws into the teeth of the defense. Yea, the players didn't do well but the coaches sure as hell didn't do them any favors.

Your logic assumes that the players would have shredded the secondary if they were given the opportunity by the coaches. And nothing about BB's or the Wr's play would suggest as much.

Could the play calling have been much more creative? Absolutely! But I have to assume that the play calling was somewhat altered once it became clear that BB and AB werent on their A game....

Live by the pass, die by the pass. I'm fine with that, if they tried to shred them and they ended up with a 5 pick loss, whatever, but to go into screen pass/ delayed handoff mode in the 1st quarter is ******* stupid.

Look what happened when they decided maybe passing the ball might be ok, bam, touchdown, and then they ran out of time.

BRILLIANT!

Joe

You can assume that but there is no evidence of it. Mostly because it isn't true. They butted heads with the front 7 all game. They threw the ball deep 6 times the entire game. 5 of them AFTER they were behind by 17 points. So please show me where they altered anything because of Ben and AB being off their game. Did they run more? Nope. Did they start throwing longer routes? Nope. Did they run the hurry up to get out of a funk? Nope. What exactly did they do to alter the game plan once it became clear that BB and AB weren't on their A game?

we lost in the trenches, we got kicked in the mouth. That's what I hate the most about the loss.

Its Beiber's fault. The curse of the devil. Don't try to tell me there's not a correlation between the Bieber meet and greet, and this loss. Damn you to hell, Justin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
