Trubisky's passing chart - one completion over 20 yards, 5 behind LOS

Here ya go....Trubisky is not on the chart but based on his first 2 games in Black n Gold he'd be ranked #3 on this list......most people probably won't even recognize the names of these QB's but I'm telling you he's actually worse than he was with Chicago. Maybe the new level of SUCK is THE CANADA EFFECT....I'm not a fan of him either...but good lord how can we continue with stats like this? Even JaMarcus Russell averaged 6.0 YPA :p During Trubisky's time in Chicago he averaged 6.7 YPA. So maybe it is our OC?

Yeah, that's a definitely a list on which you don't want to find yourself.

And you guys are basing this analysis on what? Warren's 7 carries for 22 yards in his 2 NFL games? Is it the 3.1 yards per carry, or the long of 6 that really gets your juices flowing? Yeah, Warren is really hitting those holes as a pure runner, boy. Especially on that 6-yarder.

Najee proved his capabilities behind a **** line last season, and this year the run blocking might be even worse. There's only so much the guy can do.
Trai Essex went on Twitter and said exactly that. Najee is as much to blame as the line.
The fact that you're first round pick doesn't look any better than an undrafted rookie speaks volumes.

Nobody is arguing Bell's ability, but you have to compare apples to apples. Bell had his wheels run off and there is no denying that. His unbelievable amount of touches is also what escalated his totals. Look at his YPC and it isn't nearly as impressive as the total.

At the end of the season Bell had nearly 2 1/2 games more worth of touches VS the next closest RB in the NFL.

Saluted the nation
You seem to not understand what most yards from scrimmage per game in history means? He got alot of touches, yes, Same with Jonathan Taylor last season, Derrick Henry the 2 seasons before that. The best guys get the ball the most and put up the biggest numbers. Is that a new concept for you?

The discussion is about his oline being ****** according to you. No RB makes it on his own.
Was bell great during that span? Yeap sure he was.

You are on your own, you have proven your scholar over and over.

Canada won't be here next year and Pickett will be starting.
See y’all next year 😂

Wish I could just do that but I’m dumb AF
As much as I try to boycott I’ll keep tuning in and hoping something changes

Hate the idea of waiting til next year in week 2 tho, that’s depressing

Let’s go!!!

I definitely give Najee the benefit of the doubt on this. The idea that he is expecting to get hit immediately definitely affects his vision. How could it not?
Stumbled across this one on youtube.

In 2021 Najee had 1.7 yrds before contact / attempt compared to Taylor who was at 2.6. Najee was at 2.2 after contact while Taylor was at 2.8. Henry was also at 2.5 before contact and 2.9 after contact.

In 2017 Bell was at 2.0 yrds before contact / attempt and only 2.0 yrds after contact. Bell's 2017 year is almost identical to Harris's 2021. (touches, YPC, receptions etc etc) Bell also had a much better surrounding cast. Bell had the luxury of teams not crowding the line. With the current offense the opponents DBs are not even getting turned around because there is 0 deep threat.

Bell was unique with the way he ran and he was a good back, but also vastly over-rated.

Yes the best guys get the ball, but very few teams rely on a 1 back system anymore. Any team that utilizes one back, that back is going to have a lot of yards. If you look at Gordan and Williams for Denver in 2021 they had identical carries and were only 15 yrds apart. If one guy had all the touches he would have had 1800+yards and 90+ receptions.

As for Najee multiple factors go into the struggles this year. Between the line struggles, foot injury, and the 2yrd pass offense I think he is a bit shell shocked. If Harris was on the team that Bell had Harris would be putting up huge numbers.

First play from scrimmage that I want to see tomorrow night, play action to Najee, then hitting Pickens 30 yards down the sideline.

What we will see, Najee running into a wall for a 1 yard gain, 2nd and 9, rinse and repeat, 3 yard completion and out.
Tomlin / Canada would reason that by saying "Everyone expected us to go deep so we outsmarted them by running it up the middle." A true super genius move

My point is Bell had a better Oline and much better offense in general and was only able to have 1 or 2 20yrd runs / yr. You put Bell on this team he would be lucky to average positive yrds. Bell could not wait for a hole to open because it just would not be there no matter how patient he was. Look what happened when he went elsewhere. A bull dozing back that can just plow through people might be our only hope.
This. And I will add that teams had to honor where AB was and gameplan for him. That alone helped the run game. There is nothing on this current offense that other teams have to make special allowance for.

The issue of Trubisky (and basically anyone under center for the Steelers) not being able to audible is going to lead to the cluster f*** that you are seeing every week. All the opposing defence has to do is change their alignment at the snap and it will cause Trubisky (or anyone else playing QB) to go to the checkdown receiver. Until this moron Canada removes the ban on the audible you will get more of the same.

Well, by God, if Trai Essex said that he can tell Warren (after 7 NFL carries and 22 total yards) is just as good as Najee Harris, it must be true.

Missing obvious holes and going down on first contact on every single carry.
