The U.S. paid for NATO: $30 trillion and counting

As the firestorm ignited by Donald Trump regarding the structure and utility of NATO burns on, the freeloaders in the alliance continue to whine and ask for even greater levels of subsidization.

Take Lithuania, whose defense minister recently claimed that "the harassment of an American warship [by Russian fighter jets] shows why the US should help build the region's missile defenses." A correct translation of "help build" is "have the Americans pay for."

In terms of who built NATO, it was America -- of course. Cumulative military spending since each current member joined the alliance will undoubtedly be skewed heavily towards the founding members, but even among the founders it is an exclusively American club

True, also I think Trump would fare better running against Hildebeast than Bernie.
 
I like that nickname. He should mix in a shady Hillary and evil Hillary a few times too.

The States Cruz is winning, for the most part, are going to vote Republican anyway. Do you mostly agree?

However, the states Trump is winning are larger and sometimes toss up states in the election.

As such Trump is better suited to beat Clinton.

Trump can sweep NY.

Democracy has failed The Donald.

He will lose at the convention even though he's the guy the people voted for.

At some point we have to re-evaluate our electoral system. The people voted for Gore and got Bush. Now they're voting for Trump and they'll get.. Somebody Not Named Trump.
 
I want to like Ted but cannot. somehow I envision him, holding snakes in someone's basement praising god and begging for votes

Even if that worked you'd still have a major problem: The man is uncoachable. He'd be going off on the Rooneys in the press every time we didn't draft a lineman he wanted.

Well in reality this speaks more of a Tired candidate. They're going at it constantly. Sooner or later something will come out flipped or askew.
