Liberals have been saying it all along, but now there’s proof: Trump supporters are complete and utter morons. Yes, you read that right.
Public Policy Polling surveyed Trump supporters and came to some rather interesting conclusions regarding their intelligence, which may speak to the rise of The Mighty Donald: America is filled with idiots.
Trump is obviously well known for spouting complete nonsense and making headlines; in fact, his entire campaign was basically built on just that. So when Public Policy Polling questioned his supporters about just how much of that nonsense they believe, their responses were pretty alarming:
65% think President Obama is a Muslim, only 13% think he’s a Christian.
59% think President Obama was not born in the United States, only 23% think that he was.
27% think vaccines cause autism, 45% don’t think they do, another 29% are not sure.
24% think Antonin Scalia was murdered, just 42% think he died naturally, another 34% are unsure.
7% think Ted Cruz’s father was involved in the assassination of JFK, 55% think he was not involved, another 38% are unsure.
These points are so outrageous, it’s difficult to even speak to them. For one, President Obama is not a Muslim. But really, it shouldn’t matter if he is, and it shouldn’t be something so hotly debated. The president even presented a copy of his birth certificate, but apparently that wasn’t even enough for Trump and his minions, as they all continue to question his nationality. Which, by the way, is AMERICAN.
Yes, it’s true. Antonin Scalia was murdered. It was all part of President Obama’s plan to vacate his seat on the Supreme Court and then nominate Merrick Garland, thus pissing off Republicans everywhere. Not. The fact that 24% of Trump supporters actually believe Scalia was murdered is both hilarious and humiliating.
This is what happens when idiots are left to their own devices. So, kids, if anyone ever tells you your dreams are impossible, don’t believe them even for a second. If Donald Trump and his minions can get this close to snagging the Oval Office, surely anything is possible. After all, this is America.
