Trump - Make America Great Again!

My question, why isn’t the assassination attempt on Donald Trump bigger news?

Can you imagine if somebody tried that against Hillary?

They'd be writing books about it already
with a Lifetime movie airing Friday night.

I'd like to see both Clinton and Trump lose about 10% of each of those votes with those going to Stein and Johnson respectively. it would be awesome if both main party candidates got less than 40% of the popular vote even. Even if one of them still won the Electoral College, it would send a pretty clear message. Which they would promptly ignore.

Unfortunately, it might generate more calls for the end of the Electoral College, which would be bad if replaced with popular vote totals.

Close to under 40% for the major parties.

I got a fundraising email from Trump yesterday. I was going to kick in a few bucks but then it asked for a credit card and no PayPal option. Homey don't give out his credit card numbers to incoming emails. Anybody else get this or know if it's legit?

I got the same one, I think. It looks legit but I donate directly on his secure website.

It's time for Trump to make a deal. Paul Ryan is hurting him, maybe not in the polls, but from a fundraising perspective ( Clinton is ahead 10 to 1 ) for sure as he's the speaker of the house.

So what deal should Trump make? Let Ryan and the Republican bigwigs pick his VP running mate, in exchange for full support and fundraising.

Looks like he's already made his pick....and Trump's kids are the ones who had seen enough of Corey.

Trump Finally Decided to Fire His Campaign Manager

At around 9:30 Monday morning, Donald Trump and his adult children gathered for a regular strategy meeting at Trump Tower. Also present were senior staff, including Corey Lewandowski, the campaign's embattled manager.

The candidate's children, who have been involved in strategy from the beginning, saw an opening to achieve a shared goal: Fire Lewandowski.

According to two sources briefed on the events, the meeting was a setup. Shortly after it began, the children peppered Lewandowski with questions, asking him to explain the campaign's lack of infrastructure.

"They went through the punch list. 'Where are we with staffing? Where are we with getting the infrastructure built?'" one source explained. Their father grew visibly upset as he heard the list of failures. Finally, he turned to Lewandowski and said, "What's your plan here?"

Lewandowski responded that he wanted to leak Trump's vice-president pick.

And with that, Lewandowski was out. Trump has long viewed announcing his running mate at the GOP convention next month as a valuable card to play. He was shocked that Lewandowski didn't have any other ideas. Shortly after the meeting, Lewandowski was escorted out of the building by Trump security.

Voters Trust Donald Trump to Keep America Safe; Favor Muslim Ban

Americans trust Donald Trump to keep America safe more than former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, despite repeated assertions from Democrats that she is one of the most qualified candidates for president in history.

A new poll from Morning Consult shows that 41 percent of Americans believed that Trump would do a better job of keeping the country safe while only 37 percent favored Hillary Clinton.

Good read!

Houston - maybe Coolie was there

I went to a Trump rally, and it was nothing like what I expected

Politics aside, I had a lot of fun. It really was inspiring, and I think even a person who doesn't support Trump would have come away with a similar experience.

I met a lot of good, hardworking people of all ages, colors, and tax brackets. The energy level, patriotism, and enthusiasm was far greater than what I had expected or seen from other rallies on TV.

No pick is official until announced by the candidate for president. If Trump strikes a deal with Ryan on the VP and something else in exchange for full support, his chances will be much better in the general election.

If I were advising Trump, I'd tell him to make such a deal with Ryan especially if the pick is Kasich, who can help in Ohio or Gingrich who was the best speaker of the house the Rep's had in decades. The VP has very little power, but an insider would make some of his nervous critics feel better.

As a Trump supporter, I think his election will be won or lost in the next few weeks. He needs to get organized and shore up allies quickly.

Didn't Kasich say he would not accept VP? Has Kasich even endorsed Trump?

I read that no protesters showed up at the Trump rally in heavily-Democrat Pittsburgh.

From the pictures it looked like all the colors of white were well represented.

He never said he wouldn't accept the VP from Trump. Besides what a politician says and does when offered something can quickly change. Trump with his very pro-UA labor should resonate well in a state like Ohio.

I actually felt Kasich was the best man to beat Clinton because of his track record, and favorable ratings.

If Trump wants Kasich for VP he'll pick him. He doesn't need ******* Ryan for that.

That speech was awesome! Hillary supporters are anti-American.

Trump Just Gave the Speech Republicans Have Been waiting 20 Years to Hear

Donald Trump did what Republicans have begged their presidential candidate to do for months — lay out the case, from A to Z, against Hillary Clinton.

Trump didn't hold back in a blistering speech Wednesday. He went through chapter and verse of every criticism against the Clintons. In sum, Trump said, Hillary Clinton may be "the most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency of the United States" and a "world-class liar."

soo anyone notice that while the heavily doctored polls in mainstreem media that often have a few hundred responses still show Hillary in a lead, every open online poll has Trump ahead by double digits, and often have a half million votes, even on fairly liberal sites... ive not seen this in a while...

Young people shocked all the racist and evil quotes they blame on Trump are really from Hillary .... kids are so naive

Thanks Spike....just hearing her name triggered me.

I saw one of these on MSN last week, which is MSNBC, and Trump was up by 20 points with several hundred thousand votes already.

Heard a good chunk of Trump's speech yesterday. I was impressed. When he said "I'm with the American people," I knew he hit it out of the park.

That line about Hillary's slogan being "I'm with her" and Trump saying "I'm with the American people" was huge. He needs to keep saying that moving forward. She's all about herself and the big donors and Trump is for us, the American people. You know, the way it is supposed to be.

uh-oh

MSN Poll Trump 49% Hillary 31%

Who will you vote for in the presidential race?

49% Republican Donald Trump

31% Democrat Hillary Clinton

10% Other candidate

10% Don't know

Total responses: 790,789 votes
