Look up Dumbass in the dictionary and your likely to see a picture of Trey Gowdy.
His oversight of the Benghazi committee was a joke and waste of taxpayer dollars.

*you're, Mr. Bestseller.

G.O.P. Seeks Criminal Inquiry of Hillary Clinton’s Testimony to Congress

“Republican leaders asked the Justice Department on Monday to open a criminal investigation into whether Hillary Clinton lied to Congress in testimony last fall about her private email server, opening a new front in their long-running attacks on the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee,” the New York Times reports.

“The Republican request, coming five days after the Justice Department closed a yearlong investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s handling of classified information in the emails, threatens to shadow her through the fall campaign and perhaps even into the White House if she is elected.”

Pick Gingrich for the VP. He's already taken out Clinton once, and can debate and hold the media accountable better than anyone

Here is all you need to know about the Benghazi committee. The 911 Commission convened on 1/27/3 and published its final report
on 7/22/4. The Benghazi committee was authorized on 5/8/14 and published its final report 6/28/16. It took approx. 7 months longer
to investigate 4 American deaths on hostile soil, versus an event that hit several locations on American soil and claimed thousands of
lives.

Gowdy should be elected as Mr. Unproductivity In-Chief.

I've seen 18 black people, non protesters. Pretty good turnout for this area.

I was just interviewed by Showtime for a Trump documentary and had to give my consent for them to use the footage. We'll see if it makes the cut.

Depends...how many times did you utter the word "****" when referring to Hilary?

Pursuing the truth is priceless. Did we ever find out the truth about Solyndra?

POW!

GOP platform will include Trump's proposed border wall

The Republican platform committee included language calling for a border wall along the U.S. and Mexican border in the draft party platform, getting behind one of presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump's keystone proposals.

The group wrapped up drafting the plan Tuesday in Cleveland in advance of the convention there next week, when the platform will officially be voted on by the full convention's 2,472 delegates.

The proposed platform will express support for a “border wall” that must cover “the entirety of the Southern Border and must be sufficient to stop both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.”

The measure was proposed by Trump supporter Kris Kobach, the secretary of state from Kansas.

Team Trump Plans Public Event Friday With VP Pick

Donald Trump will showcase his vice presidential pick at a public event on Friday, multiple sources tell NBC News.

Trump's possible picks are thought to be narrowed to three candidates: Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

While the joint appearance is expected on Friday, it's not clear whether or not the identity of the pick could be released or could leak earlier in the week.

Trump is scheduled to attend a fundraiser and rally in Indiana Tuesday night with Pence; he campaigned with Christie on Monday and with Newt Gingrich last week.

He told the New York Times earlier Tuesday that he intended to make a decision "over the next three- to four-day period of time," adding that his "gut" would be an important factor in making the decision.

Please lord, do NOT let it be Christie. Please. That's all I ask.

I dunno, 'attack dog' sounds like Christie

Trump says he needs 'attack dog' as VP

Donald Trump confirmed Tuesday that his top three choices for a running mate are New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence

He is looking to pick someone who is a “fighter skilled in hand-to-hand combat.”“I’m getting attacked from all sides,” he said.

Many see Christie and Gingrich as ideally suited for this role. Pence, who is campaigning with Trump on Tuesday night and likely knows the candidate the least well of the three, will need to prove his “attack dog” bona fides over the next few days.

Trump is reportedly expected to announce his pick on Friday

Fox News suspending ties with Trump veep possibility Gingrich

CNN Money ^ | July 12, 2016 | The cable news channel is suspending its ties with Newt Gingrich since Gingrich is on Donald Trump's vice presidential short list.

http://money.cnn.com/2016/07/12/media/newt-gingrich-fox-news-trump/index.html

Gingrich is the most gifted speaker in the GOP. He has leadership ties to the party ( something Trump lacks ) and probably could make the best case against Clinton and for Trump.

Under Gingrich's leadership, Bill Clinton turned into a Republican, the budget was balanced, there was a surplus, and Gingrich achieved 7 of 10 points with his contract of Americas.

Yeah--He was controversial. He's mellowed in his old age, but his account of history and politics can " trump " anything the media for Obama says or suggests. Once he's on air, he owns the microphone.

He's a master at attacking Hillary and a pro at debating. He's has a lot of pluses, he's just not that exciting. More exciting than Pence though. Pence is soft and weak. Not an attack dog.

Thing is the Left will jam on Gingrich for being married so many times (like Trump) but as Milo Yiannopolis said, "Social Conservatism is dead. This is who the Republican Party is now." With the Left it's more a matter of throwing things against the wall to see what sticks. The economy outside of Washington D.C. and northern CA has been so bad for so long that I don't think the majority of Republican voters care how many times the Prez and VP have been married. We have many more pressing concerns.

Trump is doing fine on his own, he doesn't need Newt's 'help' or his baggage

Christie is a pit bull but not a fan. Newt will go after Hilldog and her VP pick as hard as anyone and he is very intelligent and well spoken. But, as I said before, I think Trump needs someone younger to avoid having two old white guys running. Trump and Newt are both 70+ or close to it. So, if it truly is down to those 3, I'd have to go for Pence.

The first debate will be huge. Not sure what channel is hosting it but it will definitely be liberal biased. No matter, Trump needs to make sure he turns almost every question to him into a question as to why Hilldog lied to Congress and continually lied to the American people for the past year and a half. He also needs to keep turning onto her incompetence, lack of intelligence and her "lack of sophistication", as Comey tried to gloss over it. If Trump can do that, he will jump to a huge lead and should then skip the remaining debates. One will be enough if he does it right.
