Trump - Make America Great Again!

Just learned recently that some use a visitor visa to get treated in our hospitals, don't stay in our country, but stiff us with the hospital bill.

That's the tip of the iceberg of people stiffing us with hospital bills... A much bigger problem than immigration.

Don't tell me a builder like Trump can't take that $16B a mile and pare it down to something not resembling a typical Gov't job....especially with all that cheap labor showing up from the south every day.

Doesn't have to be cheap labor from south of the border Chip, there are thousands of 18 to 30 year old males in AZ that can't find work, and would love construction jobs.
As an added bonus, they all have U.S. birth certificates.

I just love how the left paints anyone who disagrees with the unfettered masses scamming our welfare systems, draining our economy, our prisons, things that good citizens should find abhorrent, is a bad thing. This country has sure lost its heart and soul if patriotism and any respect for the rule of law are considered bad things.

Has Hillary even commented on Trump going to Mexico?

You see it's racist to want to keep your own money. You are a bigot if you don't want to pay higher taxes so a Pol can pay a dependent to not work.

Has Hillary even commented on Trump going to Mexico?
She said a bunch of stupid ****. This was the best -
“You don’t build a coalition by insulting our friends or acting like a loose cannon,” she said. “You do it by putting in the slow, hard work of building relationships.”
“It’s more than a photo op,” Clinton continued. “It takes consistency and reliability. Actually it’s just like building personal relationships. People have to get to know that they can count on you, that you won’t say one thing one day and something totally different the next. And it certainly takes more than trying to make up for a year of insults and insinuations by dropping in our on neighbors for a few hours and then flying home again. That is not how it works.”
Talk about loading your opponents gun..

The problem with just border security is that many get a 10 year visitor visa and the Constitution and
our emergency room policies let them get pregnant, come for a visit at the time of birth, go to
emergency room and give birth to an American citizen and can pay the emergency room bill if they
feel like it or not if they don't.

Doesn't seem like an intelligent way to run a country. Just learned recently that some use a visitor
visa to get treated in our hospitals, don't stay in our country, but stiff us with the hospital bill.

Why would they want to get treatment at the shithole of American healthcare. Don't all of these other countries do it a lot better?

I know Cuba does. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie said so.

You know it's funny. I don't have a whole lot of problems with conservative policy, at least on some issues. There are certainly things I believe that are liberal in nature -- ie abortion rights, gay rights, environnmental policy. In other areas I lean more conservative, for instance economic and foreign policy. I agree the borders need to be tightened, we need immigration reform, et al.

My issue with Trump first and foremost is regarding his character. Everything with him is so inflated and over the top. He purposefully goes for the jugular each and every time. Throwing around insults, demeaning friends and foes alike, embelishing most everything he says. He's loud, he's bellicose, he's uninformed. I have very little good to say about Hillary Clinton, I'm not a fan of hers at all. Sure, her stance on some issues is closer to me politically, but that's about it. If there was a Republican candidate other than Trump, I'd even consider that as an option. But to me Trump is clearly unfit to be the president. He is a blabbering fool who blows in the wind, changes positions sometimes on a daily basis. He is simply the most unelectable candidate I've seen in my lifetime. My rants and general angst against Trump should not be viewed as an endorsement of Hillary. I simply cannot fathom the notion a deranged madman be elected to the highest office.

Something we can agree on Tibs! Sort of. I'm not enamored with either candidate as well.

However, I hold out hope that Trump will get the economy going and find a way to bring jobs back to this country.
Not everyone is cut out to be doctors, lawyers, or any other white collar professions. We need manufacturing jobs for those who simply aren't cut out to work in an office.
Right now those folks are limited to flipping burgers, working at the mall, or other menial tasks.

I may be over optimistic in thinking Trump will be able to do this. I am certain, however, that Clinton will not.

It's the economy that will drive my vote.

The choices are very clear. You are either for continuing Obama's globalism and destruction of America by voting for Hillary, or you are for reversing it and putting America's interests first by voting for Trump. It's really an easy call.

Mock him all you want, clearly you can't refute any of his points. No surprise there.

He did not have any points, Tibs. Rather claimed:

Um. Wow. If anybody thought that Donald Trump would deliver a moderated speech on immigration, that ended pretty much in the first moments he walked onto the stage in Phoenix. He claimed it would be a detailed policy address, and yet from the start his tone was a seething, angry attack on what he described as a world of dangerous murderers and rapists who seem to be roaming “sanctuary cities.” Focusing on a few isolated and already well-documented tragedies, he painted the entire undocumented world with the casual brush of violence.

Bullshit. Spike printed the speech. Trump noted four instances where an American citizen was brutally murdered or raped and murdered by an illegal who had been caught - repeatedly - and not deported due to the "sanctuary city" policies. What, "if it saves even one life" does not apply any more? That is allowed only for the liberal playbook, I guess.

Trump further spoke about the cost of illegal immigration, the strain on medical care, and schooling, and housing, and the depression of wages for low-skilled American workers. I guess Rather had another micro-stroke and did not hear that portion.

Rather gave his bloated, unfounded, false personal opinions on what Trump said - nothing more. In the process, he ignored the vast majority of the speech. Therefore, he gave no "facts" to dispute, Tibs.

Oh, and I think it does bear mention that the same guy KNOWINGLY USED A FRAUDULENT DOCUMENT TO ATTACK A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE. I have never heard Rather effectively respond to that fact. Maybe he should stow his false opinions and start with that fact.

Don't forget that "cure" for cancer that only cost $1. Turns out it only worked on one specific type of cancer and prolonged life, I think, for 2 months.

The August jobs report was ugly. Again. Trump response:

The unemployment rate is unchanged at 4.9% rate. The country’s labor force participation rate is 62.8%, near a historic low. The Clinton-Obama recovery is seven years of failure on virtually every significant metric — growth, income, trade and jobs. Donald Trump’s policies will put America First, Make America Work Again and Make America Great Again.

Rather betrayed his newscaster credibility with his false documentation, got caught, and lost his job because of it.

His comments are nothing more than the opinions of a biased, disgraced newscaster.

Well... the "sky is falling" rhetoric about Trump becoming President is completely overblown and you've fallen for it hook, line and sinker TIBS.

That's the issue I guess. Just because Trump asks for the world on every position, even though he keeps his positions close to the vest (and might even bluff on some issues) does not make him bad. In fact, I find some of what you cite as problematic as downright refreshing and possibly a huge plus from a political leader. It is not our President's job to tell the press every exact position he has or what he is going to do at every sit-down meeting with a foreign dignitary. All I want are the broad strokes because we all know what candidates say on the campaign trail and what actually happens once in office (and the negotiations start with congress, other countries, etc.) are COMPLETELY different.

I see nothing hugely right-wing from Trump (certainly not nearly as right wing as someone like Ted Cruz). Yes, he is running on a Nationalist/Populist platform, but that is not necessarily right wing. He is as close to an independent as I've had the potential to vote for (and had a chance) in my 28 years of voting.

I want unpredictability as long as believe it won't lead to mass destruction and I certainly don't think our President, with the checks and balances afforded by our constitution, can just damage the world as much as some of the whiners in the media (and you TIBS) seem to believe. It's just not possible.

While I don't like what Obama has done over the last 8 years and I likely won't like what Clinton would do over the next 4, I still have strong faith in our country and our Constitution. I still believe in the Rule of Law (although it's obvious to me Obama and Clinton thumb their noses at the Rule of Law more than any other politicians I've seen in recent memory).

Everything I've heard from Donald Trump is about the LAW. He's not running a campaign based on lies and deceit and corruption of the laws for his own political gain (like Clinton has time and again exemplified). To me, voting for Trump gets us back to a LAWFUL executive branch of government. And if Congress so hates Donald Trump and what he is doing, they have all the power in the world to pass new laws and override any veto action. And I believe Trump will enforce them (unlike other recent Presidents and DOJ's that enforce only what they want).

Hillary is brain damaged, unfit to govern

Hillary Clinton Could Not Remember Security Briefings Due to Concussion

(REUTERS) Hillary Clinton told the FBI she did not recall all the briefings she received on handling sensitive information as she made the transition from her post as U.S. secretary of state, due to a concussion suffered in 2012, according to a report released Friday.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation released a summary of the July 2 interview it conducted with the Democratic presidential candidate, as well as other details of its investigation into her use of a private email server while heading the State Department.

"In December of 2012, Clinton suffered a concussion and then around the New Year had a blood clot,” the FBI report states. “Based on her doctor’s advice, she could only work at State for a few hours a day and could not recall every briefing she received.”

I would argue the opposite....the 'Trump doesn't mean what he says' rhetoric about Trump not posing an imminent danger to the Republic is completely overblown and you've fallen for it hook, line and sinker DELJZC. See how that works?

Exactly how do you see Trump ripping up our Constitution exactly? What executive orders is he going to pass that will hold up in our Supreme Court (like Obama tried and failed numerous times)? What laws are the professional congressmen (corrupt as they are) going to pass that worry you so much will happen if Trump and not Hillary gets elected?

This is the part no one can explain to me. Trump can't go to war without Congressional approval. Congress controls the purse strings of America.

We are currently NOT following immigration laws in our country and Trump wants to and this is somehow going to tear down our Republic? Really? Democrats want amnesty for millions of ILLEGAL immigrants (even though there isn't a law in the land that allows this to happen) and this is going to tear apart our country?

I would argue the opposite is true. That continued "politicizing" of the executive branch of government and "politicized" Department of Justice is actually tearing apart our Republic for the worse. That when our executive branch decides which laws it likes and doesn't like that THAT is fundamentally anti-American and the Rule of Law no longer means what is should.

I have no doubt an executive branch run by Hillary Clinton will be as partisan and corrupt as any we've seen in American history based on her history. That she will abuse the Department of Justice like no one before or since to do her political bidding and keep those against her under her thumb. Nothing Trump has said or done to date seems to indicate this kind of corruption of the executive branch like Clinton (who is much smarter with her husband and inner circle) is capable of. And nothing Trump proposes seems as Anti-American as how Hillary has conducted her political career to date and clearly put herself ahead of the people she has sworn to serve.

LOCK HER UP!

FBI Bombshells: Clinton Didn't Recognize Classified Markings; Had 13 Mobile Devices

The FBI today released files from its investigation into Hillary Clinton's email server, including a summary of its interview with her on July 2. The notes contain some eyebrow-raising revelations -- such as Hillary's claim as secretary of state that she didn't realize that information marked “(C)” denoted classified material. Stunningly, she also told the FBI that she wasn't concerned that Top Secret/Special Access Program (SAP) intelligence would damage U.S. national security interests if mishandled and leaked.

Even more incredibly, Clinton told the FBI she did not recall all the briefings she received on handling sensitive information because of a concussion suffered in 2012.

This is how a Mob boss testifies...

How is "I don't recall" a defense for a Presidential candidate?

Via the Washington Free Beacon:

“When asked about the e-mail chain containing ‘(C)’ portion markings that State determined to currently contain CONFIDENTIAL information, Clinton stated she did not know what the ‘(C)’ meant at the beginning of the paragraphs and speculated it was for referencing paragraphs marked in alphabetical order,” the documents state.

Clinton also indicated to investigators that she was not concerned about email discussions about future drone strikes containing classified information.

Where’s Hillary? Getting drunk and watching porn. Now we know.

Hillary Clinton Clicked on ‘Porn Link’ That Was Actually Phishing Attack

The FBI’s Hillary Clinton investigation turned up evidence that her e-mail accounts were targeted in multiple “spear phishing” attacks, one of which may have tricked the then-Secretary of State into clicking a malicious link included in the correspondence.

An FBI investigative report released today includes a section on the “cyber targeting” of Clinton’s “personal E-mail and Associated Accounts” during her tenure at the State Department.

Though riddled with redactions, the FBI report reveals that Clinton became concerned about the legitimacy of an e-mail purportedly sent to her “from the personal e-mail of a State official.” The e-mail sent to Clinton, the FBI noted, “contained a potentially malicious link.”

In reply to the suspect e-mail, Clinton wrote, “Is this really from you? I was worried about opening it!” The FBI report does not indicate to which e-mail account Clinton sent her response.

At one point, Clinton aide Huma Abedin wrote to an associate indicating that Clinton was concerned about someone “hacking into her email” since Clinton had received an e-mail from a “known…associate” containing “a link to a website with pornographic material.
