Trump - Make America Great Again!

So I'm guessing the answer is "often".

Only amongst conservatives is ignorance considered a virtue.
Ah, the familiar liberal rhetorical device of ignoring the definitive part and continuing to argue against their imaginary silliness.

Really? Is that why they voted for Leftist Obama?

TWICE.

Actually in both cases the Obama victory was due to the conservative base not turning out and voting for a left leaning "moderate" GOP candidate. The swing voters aren't going to vote DNC-Lite when they can vote for the real thing and Constitutional Conservatives like myself will not vote for more big government and tax and spend just because there is an R after the name.

As Burgundy points out all the time if Romney gets as many votes as McCain B-Rock is one term willy.

Ha ha! Trump rented a whole theater in Iowa and gave out free tickets to the Bengazi movie.

I haven't heard and wondered, how does the Bengazi movie portray the administration and Hillary?

You know, I'm having this same debate in another thread about war participation.

If you can't even be bothered to vote, then you give up your right to representation. You are absolutely correct that voter turnout was a problem in both elections. McCain was too moderate and Evangelicals couldn't bear the stink of a Mormon in the White House. So they stayed home and lost. Nobody to blame but themselves.

Trump is all about big government, as people have correctly pointed out. Which is alot of the point I've been making about turnout affecting his chances. Old school trad cons are not going to come out for him. the geezers are not going to come out for him. But the Democrats will come out hard for Hillary. Feminism is one of their core causes, and getting a slit in the big chair really churns their butter.

But.

Bernie. I will concede that if Bernie pulls off the miracle and beats the Clinton machine, Trump could conceivably win by default. At which point the clown circus that is our current government will become a fully animated cartoon train wreck.

She's basically cleared, the stand down order comes from the CIA chief. So sayeth the star of the movie, dude from "The Office".

I disagree with the "scant chance to win the presidency" checkmark for Bernie. I think he has an increasingly good chance to beat Hillary in a dog fight. If he does that, he'll waltz right into the White House.

A vote for Trump is a vote for Hillary, but a vote for Bernie is a vote for Trump.

The ONLY way Trump becomes president is if Bernie is the nominee. The Bernie people will fall in line for a Hillary nomination. The Hillary people will probably stay home for a Bernie nomination, or go third party. Bernie has literally the exact same problem Trump does: he has no base.

Hillary over Trump

Trump over Bernie

Bernie vs Cruz is probably a tossup.

I totally disagree, especially on your comment Bernie has no base. If you look into it a bit, Bernie has gained a groundswell of support, from many quarters. My sense is the liberal, progessive base is ready to move on from Hillary. And I think if and when that happens, Hillary supporters and independants alike will join forces against Trump. At the end of the day, both Bernie and Hillary will beat whatever candidate the GOP rolls with. If it's Trump, the defeat will be demoralizing. If it's not Trump, it will be a tighter race, but we'll see a Democrat in the White House regardless, for at least the next four years.

LOLZ.

That rumor has about as much credence as the 9/11 Truther assertion that the Bush administration perpetrated the attacks.

Obama may be a ******, but he's not a homosexual.

He's a ****. Too much evidence exists.

I can only pray he beats Hillary as he has no chance whatsoever in the general. I know the country has changed but there is no way a straight out admitted socialist will win. No one has really debated him yet on his extreme views. I hope that happens. I don't think it will. The Dems want Hillary and they're going to make sure she gets it.

I will walk this back a step. Bernie has a small base. I will concede that, upon further consideration. But it's still not nearly enough to hold off the Trump machine. And he's going to get beaten into the dust with his 90% taxation plan. The hate PACS will wear that one out on the airwaves. Dudes basically a Commie. When the non-political regular folks get a load of his agenda, he's toast. America's just not ready to become a Scandinavian welfare state. Maybe in another quarter century, but not now.

He's a ****. Too much evidence exists.

Ok. Post it.

What are the Libs going to do when Trump gets elected, the economy gets better, they make more money, and their kids can afford to move out of the house?

They're going to take a dump on the front porch and then slit their throat. They can't function in a rational world.

Them is some big *** "ifs" though. I mean Kardashian booty sized "ifs".

I haven't seen anything in his platform that pragmatically will produce the results you're assuming. It's fun to say, but it's not very realistic.

More likely he's going to have boondoggle projects like the Wall To Nowhere, stifle investment by INCREASING capital gains taxes, and generally screw up our international relations with an adolescent view of foreign affairs. And we haven't even discussed his ridiculous plan to round up 12 million Mexicans and send them back across the border. Good luck with that mess.

Trump is irresponsible. He will do and say things that result in outcomes completely opposite of what you're predicting.

Interesting read... makes a lot of sense, actually.

Trump's grandfather was a pimp and tax evader; his father a member of the KKK
http://ahtribune.com/us/2016-election/242-trump-grandfather-pimp-father-kkk.html

As they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree; Donald Trump's racism can easily be traced through his lineage.

I don't like Trump, but bullshit attacks like that will only make him stronger. People are tired of being called racists just because they want our country to enforce immigration laws. 53% of Americans don't want Syrian refugees here and 46% support Trump's wall, including 39% of Democrats. They aren't all racists.
