You think that was so funny that you can't stop laughing? Your world is lame. That dude sucks.

Drama in conservative crazytown after Palin is mysteriously absent from scheduled Trump events
http://www.dailykos.com/stories/201...t-from-scheduled-Trump-events?detail=facebook

Donald Trump was supposed to be taking the former half-term governor of Alaska on tour in Iowa after her much-sought after endorsement on behalf of crazy people everywhere. But, there may be trouble in paradise because she’s mysteriously absent from today’s campaign events:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Campaign Press release advertised she'd be here but no Palin. See below: <a href="https://t.co/AEh8KHYgPj">pic.twitter.com/AEh8KHYgPj</a></p>— Katy Tur (@KatyTurNBC) <a href="https://twitter.com/KatyTurNBC/status/689829102715572224">January 20, 2016</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

When asked to explain her absence from the spotlight at Trump’s rallies, a Trump spokeswoman parsed words saying their announcement of her as a “special guest” never meant she'd be on stage.

But, Palin hasn’t been spotted at any events? Perhaps she’s gone back to Wasilla to help her son get out of jail. He was arrested this week at her home (where he lives) on charges of assault, interfering with a report of domestic violence, and possession of a weapon while intoxicated. The police report is disturbing:

“(She) told Palin that she had called the cops even though she had not, in attempt to calm him down and to scare him away from ‘touching her,’” the affidavit said. “Palin approached (her) and struck her on the left side of her face with a closed fist.”

The woman then told police she fell to the ground in the fetal position and Palin kicked her in her knee before picking up her phone and throwing it.

According to the affidavit, the woman grabbed her phone and went inside, where she said she found Palin holding a gun with the barrel pointed near his face and saying, “Do you think I won’t do it?”

“(The woman) was concerned that he would shoot himself and ran outside and around the house,” Kappler wrote. She eventually hid under the bed, where she was discovered by police.

This isn’t Track Palin’s first drunken assault in Alaska. He was the instigator of the now famous fight at a Wasilla party that involved Track, Todd and Bristol assaulting several people at a birthday party.

Maybe she’s home visiting her new granddaughter, Sailor, the second child by a second man for the still unmarried Bristol Palin. [NOTE: I am not personally judging Bristol Palin, but I believe when you run on your “values” and morals being superior to others, it’s fair game.]

Anyway you slice it, the Palin family is not the model moral family they bill themselves to be in public. They are a national embarrassment and the fact Donald Trump would allow Sarah Palin anywhere near a shared stage, let alone a position in a fantasy presidential cabinet, tells you all you need to know about Donald Trump, Sarah Palin and their collective judgement.

We’ll probably never know whether she was uninvited from the rallies by Trump or whether she took off to tend to her family, but let’s take one last minute to reflect on the fact that John McCain once chose this woman to be his running mate and one heartbeat away from the presidency:

wait. hold up.

a man can assault a woman and that is "disturbing".
yet rapes perpetrated by Muzzies are to be swept under the carpet?

So McCain nominated Track Palin as VP?

No? Then what the **** does that story have to do with the price of tea in China?????

So much fun to watch conservatives eat their tail and chase a guy who shares NONE of their "values" on family, faith, government, foreign policy or even gun control. It shows just how hollow all that talk about "traditional values" and "faith" really was. Turns out, it was indeed just an excuse to hate ******* and cut school budgets. The Right never believed a word of it, and has proven that by adopting a messiah who loves big government, has paid off Democrats, has no "family values" to speak of, will hike up taxes, expand government massively and doesn't even pretend to be a church goer.

The Right has been exposed and the Emperor Has No Clothes.

Wrong. True conservatives support Ted Cruz. We like some of the things Trump brings up. But we don't like him. Edit: all that much.

I will walk it back this far: SOME conservatives seem to have held their ground. But MOST have not.

Let's listen to a GOP strategist pontificate on Trump supporters....

People who are actual conservatives stand with Rand. He is the only candidate on either side of the major parties that is talking about personal liberty and restraining the National Government inside the constitutional limits of the Federal System.

Over the years I can't think of one presidential candidate that I supported on every issue.
There are always compromises that have to be made in any election. This one will be no exception.
Whether it's Trump vs Clinton, or Trump vs Clinton vs Sanders.

Exactly. You have your priorities and vote accordingly.

My biggest priorities are: improving the economy, National security, tax reform and giving a hearty **** You to D.C. Trump is the man for that.

I still think the way to attack the democrats and their proposals is to use the failures of Europe as an example.

The right-wing has to attack the myth that Europe is a better place to live than the United States. The left continually sells us this bag of goods that Europe has less crime, free health care, better wages, better schools, cheaper prescription drugs, et. al.

They are constantly saying "look at the rest of the world" and the right wing has to call bullshit. The European economy is in shambles. The unemployment rate in the EU is TWICE what it is in America (11%). Their stock markets are worse. Business start-ups are down. Greece is bankrupt. Italy and Spain are close.

The republican party needs to tell America that unlimited social programs, social medicine, over-taxation, restrictions on banking/businesses, unfair wealth distribution, public-sector unions are all reasons Europe is failing as an economy and yet the left-wing wants to bring all those things (on a much larger scale) here to the United States.

It's the perfect example of a dead end, failed socialist system. The migrant effect is going to change European politics to the right and hopefully reign-in the crazy socialist tendencies of their economic policies (it's already happening in Germany and England, France is next).

If we decide as a country to endorse someone like Bernie Sanders, shame on us. It's like watching a train wreck economy and then copying exactly what they did to get there. It's a joke.

MSNBC ?? Is that a blog or private station, who watches that?

I goggled it and found this....

Chris Matthews was trending globally last night, but it wasn’t because MSNBC was suddenly providing the best analysis on the debate. Instead, it was because he had (another) epic meltdown in response to Obama’s poor performance, pretty much confirming that MSNBC is little more than the White House’s propaganda machine.

This was the most amusing...

MSNBC is marketed to progressive wealthy whites and homosexuals. (New England and Upper East Side NYC) Keith Olbermann is the poster child.. (a angry, wealthy closeted homosexual)

CNN is not as blatently liberal as MSNBC however are very race oriented. Everything on CNN is related to race.

FNC is marketed to conservatives. Some on-air personalities are more obnoxious than others. Hannity is a redneck and Beck is an angry recovering alcoholic.

Trump's appeal is that he is not a career politician. And that he ***** on political correctness. And that he is not Hilary or Bernie.
To many, that is enough.

I PM'd a few of my distant cousins in Italy not long ago to ask if they knew anyone in the funeral business there so maybe I could get a job there for a year or two. One of them works at the University of Pavia, I'm not sure what he does, and he basically told me that taxes are too high and the economy sucks and forget about it. My understanding though is that I wouldn't have to pay Italian income tax until after I've been there for three years.

Trump is supported by 30 some percent of "the Right". The rest of us want nothing to do with him. I think his support has maxed out and when the rest of the field is whittled down he'll be out. At least I hope. I for one will not be voting for him.

And while we're talking hypocrisy let's talk about that champion of women Hillary Clinton who helped destroy the lives of a bunch of women who might get in the way of her and her husband's political ambitions. Or the NRA backed Bernie Sanders who is the left's current darling. I guess all that talk of saving kids from gun violence doesn't matter when weighed against a big ole package of freebies.

Being pro-abortion trumps everything else.

So if he's the nominee will you vote for Hillary or just stay home?

Most likely vote third party...which I have railed against for years as wasting a vote and helping the Dem get elected. However I see no real difference between Hillary and Trump (except that he's probably a lot more ignorant and incoherent on a lot of issues than she is). He's for all intents and purposes a lifelong Dem dressed in Rep clothing.

Not one of these candidates except Rand is actually talking about shrinking the federal government. That is priority 1 for me, nothing else matters if we don't do that and no one is seriously proposing it in any meaningful way. Certainly not Trump with his wall and mass deportation talk.

I will say if Trump was elected and managed to get his tax plan through, it would benefit my family enormously. It would slash our taxes by a ton. Doubt it would ever happen though

However I've seen nothing specific from him on how he would reduce government spending.
