Trump - Make America Great Again!

I must say, Trump is indeed the showman. Remember back when he first announced his run...

My how the tune has changed.

SO..... I think that he is not attending the debate because they won't take Kelly off the panel..right ?

Fox tried to get cute with him, so he said **** you

I hear ya Chuck but I didn't hear how they " tried to get cute" other than not bowing to his demands.

I just don't see how this helps him but then I don't know **** about politics either. After all, he is getting virtually all the TV coverage, even preempting the Bundy shootout.

"Dumb like a fox"..maybe ?

How does this not make him look like a spoiled brat or schoolyard bully, or maybe a combination of both ? Wouldn't it be better to go toe to toe with her at the debate, rather than holding his breath 'till she leaves ?

Or is this just another reality TV ploy to keep things interesting so the viewers stay watching ?

TRUMP CAMPAIGN STATEMENT ON FOX NEWS DEBATE
(New York, NY) January 26th, 2016 - As someone who wrote one of the best-selling business books of all time, The Art of the Deal, who has built an incredible company, including some of the most valuable and iconic assets in the world, and as someone who has a personal net worth of many billions of dollars, Mr. Trump knows a bad deal when he sees one. FOX News is making tens of millions of dollars on debates, and setting ratings records (the highest in history), where as in previous years they were low-rated afterthoughts.
Unlike the very stupid, highly incompetent people running our country into the ground, Mr. Trump knows when to walk away. Roger Ailes and FOX News think they can toy with him, but Mr. Trump doesn’t play games. There have already been six debates, and according to all online debate polls including Drudge, Slate, Time Magazine, and many others, Mr. Trump has won all of them, in particular the last one. Whereas he has always been a job creator and not a debater, he nevertheless truly enjoys the debating process - and it has been very good for him, both in polls and popularity.
He will not be participating in the FOX News debate and will instead host an event in Iowa to raise money for the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, who have been treated so horribly by our all talk, no action politicians. Like running for office as an extremely successful person, this takes guts and it is the kind mentality our country needs in order to Make America Great Again.

The idiots at Fox News are clearly biased against him. To think that he's afraid of that **** Megyn Kelly is laughable. They issued a press release yesterday mocking him. How is that fair? They haven't mocked any of the other candidates. They poked the bear and he told them to get ******. Great move! Here's what pissed him off:

We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.

Fox put this out and shortly afterwards Trump made his decision -

An hour later, a network spokesperson issued a tongue-in-cheek statement imagining Trump conducting Twitter polls in the Oval Office.
"We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings," the statement said.

OK guys, they sent him a sarcastic message. That's it ? I'm beginning to see a pattern here with the Donald.

I am like a lot of voters, I am still on the fence as to whom I will back for POTUS, but what I see repeatedly from Trump is a lack of details about anything. I hear what he's gonna do and what he doesn't like but nothing about how he plans to go about getting the ball rolling. A whole lot of what he says is generality's and rhetoric. Not that I disagree with his vision, I just haven't been convinced that he is all that sincere...yet.

So far I see the smoke and the mirrors but not a lot of substance. Hopefully that will change as the process evolves.

Fox and Trump will make nice after Trump wins Iowa and New Hampshire. They pretty much need each other. Trump I think is using the unfair treatment as a reason to skip the debate.

Chip, I agree... but we're not seeing anything from anyone yet.

Michael Moore defends Megyn Kelly

Megyn Kelly is getting support from an unlikely source: Michael Moore.

"I feel bad for you," the liberal moviemaker told her on Fox News's "The Kelly File" Tuesday night. "You're being attacked. I'm here for you. You're OK, aren't you?"

Murdoch urges Bloomberg to Run Amid Trump Debate Boycott

Rupert Murdoch broke his three-day Twitter silence Wednesday morning to urge former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to join the 2016 White House race amid an ongoing feud with Republican front-runner and fellow New York billionaire Donald Trump.

"This is Bloomberg's last chance,Murdoch tweeted. "You never know until your hat is in the ring!"

"Events change everything the News Corp. boss added, cryptically, "especially during elections."

Murdoch's Fox News is currently engaged in a rapidly escalating war of words with Trump, who has vowed to skip Thursday night's Republican debate, which is being hosted by the network.

Murdoch knows that Bloomberg would just pull votes from Sanders or Clinton insuring a Rpublican win regardless of who runs. Sorta like Perot back in the day.

I totally get the caution and concern, even from folks leaning his way. Not sure I agree on the details thing. A strong vision that I mostly agree with is what I am looking for at this point. I think he's been pretty specific about a lot of things.

Fox News Worse than Liberal Media to Donald Trump

Donald Trump is boycotting Thursday’s final pre-Iowa GOP debate. And every Republican candidate should. Fox News is treating Trump worse than any liberal media outlet would–worse, even than John Harwood and CNBC.

Last week, moderator Megan Kelly convened a special panel of anti-Trump writers from National Review to mark the launch of their attack on Trump. This week, Fox News prepared for the debate by inviting a Muslim activist who has criticized Trump to be one of three YouTube personalities to question the candidates. And on Tuesday, as Trump considered whether to participate in the debate, Fox issued a petulant, snarky press statement mocking him:

We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.

No candidate should agree to participate under those conditions. Indeed, the other GOP candidates–including Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97%
, who led the charge against Harwood–should be standing with Trump against Fox, on principle, instead of attacking him. And conservatives who are mocking Trump should look in the mirror and ask themselves whether they are applying a different standard to center-right Fox News than they do to the mainstream media.

Fox News’ behavior after Trump’s withdrawal vindicates his decision. The network issued a statement that attacked Trump politically–“We’re not sure how Iowans are going to feel about him walking away from them at the last minute”–and accused him of “terrorizations.” Kelly followed up with radical leftist filmmaker Michael Moore on her program for what the Washington Post called a “televised love-in,” where Moore defended her against Trump.

How hard would it have been for Fox News simply to issue a statement expressing disappointment and reiterating that the debate would proceed as planned? Instead, Fox cast aside neutrality and integrity to join the political fray.

Indeed, Politico is openly wondering whether Trump walked into Fox News’ “trap.” No news network should try to “trap” a presidential candidate, but that is what Fox News appears to have done to Trump, damning him either way.

Every candidate should expect difficult questions, and no presidential candidate has the right to dictate to networks which journalists should be allowed to ask them. If it were just a matter of Trump ducking Kelly’s tough questions, he would deserve to be criticized. After all, as Trump himself once told Kelly, debating takes courage. The nation already has one president who thinks he can bully the media, and Fox News in particular. It does not need another.

But Fox News’ behavior towards Trump is the kind of bias viewers have turned to Fox to avoid. We would not tolerate it from NBC or CNN–and we should not tolerate it when Fox News sinks to–and below–their level.

Trump was tipped off and knew it was going to be an ambush

REPORT: Fox News DID Attempt Trump Political "Kill Shot"

News broke late yesterday that confirmed an earlier report here regarding Fox News plan to try and do significant damage to the Donald Trump political campaign during the scheduled Thursday GOP debate moderated by Fox News.

"Fox News and Google have invited three YouTube personalities to ask questions at the Jan. 28 GOP debate - including a Muslim advocate (Nabela Noor) who describes Donald Trump as a bigot and who visually portrayed him as being in agreement with national socialist Adolf Hitler."

Why is Fox News being singled out? The National Review and Glenn Beck aren't being very nice to Trump either.

Megyn Kelly needs ****** in the ***, though.
