Trump - Make America Great Again!

Golf is a game, but it ain't no sport.

Golfers walk about 6.5 miles during a round of golf. Golfers who walk 18 holes burn about 1,400 calories during the 4 hours it takes to play 18 holes.

Only a complete ******* moron fails to realize how much energy it takes to play 18 holes while walking the course.

So of course you fail to realize how much energy it takes to play 18 holes while walking the course.

Complete the syllogism.

[Here, let me help: You are a complete ******* moron.]

OK, OK, OK!

Golf is as much of a sport as walking is. Happy? Sheesh!

I'll consider gofers athletes when I see Phil Mickelson celebrate a 20 foot put by running 50 yards in 5 seconds and then perfectly landing a front flip.... I'm betting he couldn't come close to doing it, but oh can he walk!

Yes, I am generally always happy. Fortunately, my happiness has nothing to do with comments on a message board. By the way, you are the one wound up about this topic, not me. I just pointed out that playing 18 holes of golf burns 1,400 calories - or as many calories as riding a bike, at good pace, for 20 miles. (I know ... I use my Garmin device to measure calories burned and make my statement based on actual evidence.)

So according to you, 90% of football players are not athletes, as well as most NBA players, and tennis players, and baseball players, and on and on.

You do GET that only a tiny fraction of the sporting population can run 50 yards in 5 seconds, right? Or land a front flip?

Doing both? Perhaps some talented swimmers, some WR's, a few OF'ers, and that is about it.

So I nominate your comment for use on "Jeopardy," as the $1000 answer under the category, "Stupid Observations and Internet Comments about Sports."

Not For Profit Organization is a bit of a misnomer.

I was a group home counselor as a young man. The level of downright graft in the system was sickening. One of the best ways to get rich in America is to start a "non profit".

And one of the ways to stay rich and still have control of your money is to start your own "charity' and give money to that. It still gets to go where you want it to go and you pay a **** ton less taxes.

Have you ever golfed? Walking 18 holes while carrying your own bags is good exercise. Plus if you dont do it very often I guarantee you will wake up sore the next day from swinging the clubs. Tennis players are certainly athletes. Caroline Woz. ran a marathon without fully training for it. A pretty impressive feat.

Golf is challenging....especially when you have boobs. My boobs get in the way of my swing....so I don't play.

Damn, your rack is that serious? I mean, Serena is a full C and she gets it done on the court. Then again, them arms are pretty serious too...

Yes, I've golfed... and drank beer and smoked weed while doing it. Never did it to workout.

My yard is 2/3rds of an acre, I get 18 yards of mulch delivered every spring. I'm plenty tired and sore after an afternoon of landscaping. I don't consider it a sport.

Yes, tennis is a sport, it involves running and lunging.

Dude. It was a joke. Lighten up.

Yes, tennis is a sport, it involves running and lunging.

And tennis is grueling. It's an endurance sport where matches can go on for FOUR DAMN HOURS. Golf is basically walking in the park.

I'm not saying golf is easy. I'm not saying the guys who play it aren't talented. But to call it a "sport" implies that it's an athletic contest. I don't agree with that assessment.

Trump is a moron. The more he talks, the more he proves it. It is great he is raising money for vets, but he sounds retarded.

I get that Americans are pissed at the government, but this is the horse folks are betting on? Really?

From electing Obama twice, to failing to indict Hillary for crimes far worse than others have been jailed for, to getting behind a guy like Sanders, to backing a moron like Trump, Americans prove that they just aren't very bright. If these clowns are the best we can do, we are already doomed.

I agree.it's an epic clusterfuck. commie douchefucks on one side and a loud mouth on the other. i'd personally take Carson if i could choose from the bunch. He's the only decent human being in the lot. The entire system needs a complete reboot. Only one way that's going to happen.

You should be happy that he is on your side and helping you. You sound like a bitter grunt. What has Hillary or Obama done for you?

This constant harping by you and Tim about "what about the Democrats" is a false dichotomy. There are a hell of alot more people and ideas out there than just "what the Democrats did" and "what the Republicans did"

You need to start looking outside the two party system if you want things to change.

Thank you for looking at me as your personal opponent. I take that as a compliment, in you seeing me as your foe. Though you are woefully outmatched. I digress...

We are in a two party system. That is where we are today. We will not see a 3rd party candidate win in our lifetimes. I know, factually, far better candidates exist outside the political system we've been dealt. This isn't even a debate. But, the fact remains that without substantial change, time, and evolution, no 3rd party candidate has a chance to win...just to destroy an election for one existing party's candidate or the other's. So, for the time being, we have to (if we want our vote to count), pick the *** or the Elephant.

The *** has lived up to it's billing and will never get my vote.

Notice I used no CAPs or BOLD. I keep it classy.

The problem is there are too many candidates in the field. There are people who want to vote for Trump, and then's there's everybody else, who are currently split between several candidates. Once a few or most of those drop out I highly doubt Trump will retain his lead.

Let's not forget, Rick Santorum won Iowa last time around.

That's a bizarre statement. All I said was that you and Indy use the same argumentation crutch when you've been proven wrong. I'm sorry you think it's personal. Would you like a tissue?

We are in a two party system. That is where we are today. We will not see a 3rd party candidate win in our lifetimes.

How can you possibly know that? Donald ******* Trump is leading the field of Republican candidates. This would have sounded impossible even 4 years ago. Hell, it seemed unreasonable LAST SUMMER.

You assume that it has to be this way. That it is inevitable. I disagree that it is. But part of the problem is that closed minded individuals such as yourself continue to wallow in your defeatist attitude. The Eternal Optimist Ronald Reagan would be disappointed in you.

The *** has lived up to it's billing and will never get my vote.

Notice I used no CAPs or BOLD. I keep it classy.

If you employed MORE EMPHASIS and LESS WHINING your posts would be more productive.

What a breath of fresh air Trump is as he takes on the establishment media...and all the networks IGNORE Bernie and Hillary and the GOP debates at the same time!

hahahahahahah

Trump Overshadows Republican Debate Even As He Sits It Out

Trump was able to garner a tremendous amount of attention on Thursday without having to share much of the spotlight. Cable news networks CNN and MSNBC provided extensive coverage of his even as he sits out the GOP debate.

Um...golf isn't tennis. But I don't play tennis either. I can't get coordinated enough to swing while running. I do, however, participate in backyard football and I run. That's about the extent of my athletic prowess...and that's being nice.

Donald Trump throws a grand old party

"Look at all the cameras. This is like the Academy Awards," the real estate magnate said as he took the stage in an auditorium at Drake University about 20 minutes after the debate began a few miles away. "We're actually told that we have more cameras than they do by quite a bit, and you know what that's really in honor of our vets."

The rally was a restrained performance by Trump standards. He dispensed with his usual riff about his poll numbers and mostly avoided jabs at his fellow candidates (with the exception of a "low-energy" shot at Jeb Bush).

Instead he delivered a speech mostly focused on the problems veterans have faced when returning from Iraq and Afghanistan -- inadequate healthcare and housing, drug abuse, mental health issues and homelessness.

"Our vets are being mistreated. Illegal immigrants are treated better in many cases than our vets and it's not going to happen any more. It's not going to happen any more."

You need to start looking outside the two party system if you want things to change.

The irony is many of Trump's supporters wouldn't support him if he was running third party. It's all about cheering for your team and hating the other team. Many others wouldn't support him if he hadn't been a "reality" TV celebrity and they had never heard if him before the campaign.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the American people.
