Trump clearly wants to be King
Just for the record, Trumps not a Republican....I don't understand why people can't see him for what he is....I will never get over the fact that the first person he consulted with about running for president was Bill freaking Clinton. Just do a search for Trump and the Clintons and see what comes up.
I don't think the guy ever really wanted to "Make America Great Again" either.....I think it was just a publicity stunt that took off and got traction and landed his arrogant *** in the White House. If he would have just acted at least a little Presidential he would have won in a landslide in 20 that no amount of voter fraud would have overcome. But again his arrogant *** couldn't help himself.
And he is going to screw the Pubs over for the 3rd time around in 24 just watch and see.
Trump is kind of hard to label. I’d call him a pragmatist, more concerned with what works than what’s political. Remember the two Republicans who ran for President before Trump were moderates who ran as traditional Republicans and not too Conservative and they both lost, which is what the GOPe/Uniparty is fine with.

As I posted in another thread. I will hold my nose and vote Trump in the general election but I am voting Desantis for the Nomination. Even if he doesn’t run.
I’m gonna choose DeSantis as well.
The republicans can get the media and tech but for some reason they struggle to win over young voters

I'd definitely vote for DeSantis over Trump. I can see DeSantis easily winning Florida and Texas over Trump for the republican nomination, if he chooses to run.
Idk Ron, this generation now is just not on board with anything republican. I don’t think it’ll be any different when they get older.
He’s the best chance for the republican party.
I think Trump has created too much drama not just with the opposition but within the republican party.
DeSantis was able to get a latino demographic to vote for him. I think he can get NM on board in 2024.

I tell you what...that motherfuucker. I'm seething. You do not do this to people who have shown great competence like Desantis has in Florida. When I voted for Cruz in the PA primary in '16 I had a feeling about this coocksucker. And I got on board. I loved that he fought back. I defended him to the last. But he has crossed the line here.
As for young voters...how do you compete with the "We'll give you this, we'll give you that, we'll give you anything just vote for us?" Or victim, victim, what about my rights? What about your fuuckin responsibilities? It isn't the message that has to change in this case, it's the young voters. The babying, the helicoptering, all that shiit, has come home to roost.

You compete by being realistic what the consequences of free stuff does. What not paying taxes because they fail to work does.
None of us here like to work so many hours but we have to. We have families. We pay taxes for to improve our local and national infrastructures, services whether it’s law, education, etc.
It’s easy to sell freebies. They hide and lie about the debt that ensues.
If these young kids are as educated as they claim, then they can put two and two together

The media will probably push DeSantis over Trump which may come back to bite them. DeSantis is more electable nationwide and should be a landslide victory. Harris is not likeable by anyone, Newsome would get demolished in debates, Biden is Biden and may not even make it to the next election. Not sure who else the dems have up and coming....DeSantis would unite the repubs where Trump splits them.

Our constitution was written for a moral society to use. This republic won't survive as a whole any other way. The highest power here in the United States can not be government. Too many with no moral compass who are in power or places of direct societal influence. A government that's become all powerful and corrupt. Lies,deceit and criminal activity go unchecked and unpunished. Good is evil and evil is good.
The young in this country are being offered fools gold. It's looks good on the outside, but it's worthless.
