We are being badly misled about the Ukraine-Russia war

Next thing you know, North Korea will start lobbing missiles this way. Remember the Dems saying long ago DT would trigger WW3? They're great at accusing the opposition for the stuff they once did, currently do, or plan to do. Never forget that...

isn't it amazing that it's almost 3 years after Sleepy Creepy threatened Russian gas pipelines and almost 2 years after they got anonymously blowed up.......there seems to be some limited Russian response.

As soon as I saw some of the signatories were from US Universities, particularly Berkley, I rejected it.
I assume that would also disqualify Jeffrey Sach's take on things?

I genuinely don't know who that is.
Nor do I, but he is apparently a professor at Columbia University, was cited by Elon Musk and his positions regarding the war in Ukraine seem to be often parroted in this forum.

I am generally skeptical of higher education institutions and their thoughts, but at times I like what I hear. I Really have nothing on what you are talking about.

It absolutely does. Those things are GPS guided. We are probably doing the targeting for them. That would be my guess.
Which is a direct act of war.
We are now poking a nuclear power with More ICBMS nuclear warheads than we have.

Sachs is an esteemed American diplomat with global experience; unmatched by many other Americans.

That is why his understanding matters more than 37 neo-con academics or Ukranian loyalists. Of course they have to disagree with him or Raytheon won't get a bigger new armament contract.

You couldn't google "neo-con" or "uniparty" to read up a bit.

One of these days and it may be soon, someone is going to strike back after having enough of our bullshit.

That was a pretty long list of people to vet. I'm impressed.

It feels like that day is coming sooner rather than later. It defies logic that a lame duck president with less than 60 days in office is escalating this war. It makes no sense. Hopefully Trump can end this stupidity in short order.

Yep, because there is no way we gave those clowns the keys and access to our global positioning systems for those weapons. We are in this **** knee deep.

There is zero doubt that Biden is the worst (and illegitimate) president we have ever had. Followed closely by Oterrorist and then Carter. No one else is even close to those three mf'ers.

The Russian Ruble has destabilized a bit in recent weeks, as inflation and interest rates continue to rise.

It's worth watching, as it may be a sign that the costs of the war and sanctions are starting to have a meaningful impact on the Russian economy.

The Russians do not have infinite time to achieve their objectives in Ukraine. If they cannot force the Ukrainians to capitulate within the next year or so, it will start becoming difficult for the them to sustain the war without sacrificing their domestic economy in the process.
