Read an article about all these nations supporting Ukraine after today’s episode in the Oval Office. Me, I think that’s great. You give up your military equipment and fund his war.
And for all the people complaining on social media, do they not understand we are $36 trillion in debt and cannot keep being the piggy bank for our allies? We just cannot keep this up and expect to survive as a nation
Our budget for the year is $7.6 trillion. We are expecting to take in roughly $5 trillion in tax receipts. So there will be a $2.6 trillion shortfall. We are borrowing money to give to other nations. It is the very definition of insanity. This keeps up the economy will collapse. Most experts I’ve read think it will be when the interest reaches roughly $1.2 trillion annually. We are at $891 billion right now. It is this nation’s largest expenditure, higher than defense. We are not far off. We cannot keep financing every nation and cause under the sun.

The war is a stalemate. You either send troops and fight Russia directly and push them out or you negotiate and end and Russia will end up keeping most of what they won.
