We are being badly misled about the Ukraine-Russia war

Agree but question.

How impacted is Russia from this? I think we have seen how **** their forces are. Wars now, **** fights, let’s **** each other up enough and move on.

If we, for the military folks, if we wanted to engage this fight and minus nukes, how quick? Barring political bs of course. I think the west on what I have seen would steam roll them. Again removing nukes from equation
Russia has done what it has done in taking the Donbass region with 3rd line troops, mercenaries and massed arty. They have their best troops still in reserve. Don't discount Ivan's capabilities because he is doing things on the cheap.

Yep, I would like to think that a rational discussion could be had, but most that I know that lean left want to dictate rather than discuss. I admit my conservative leanings, fiscal at least, may skew my thought process. There is no middle ground.

The middle ground is now viewed as right-wing extremism by the left.

But that wasn’t the original point. The original point was that people condemn, cheer or defend based party affiliation, rather than a sense of right and wrong. There are many issues in this country where there are “only” two positions and God help you if you are on the “wrong” side. There’s very little nuance. In this regard, liberals and conservatives are no different regardless of what they make up in their minds.

True. But not always true. I grew up a democrat. I left the democrat party because I know the difference between right and wrong. I vote Republican not because I'm Republican.

Refusing to believe that America is racist and oppressive, was never great, was illegitimately founded, is the cause of the world's problems, confides in an obsolete Constitution, invented slavery ...so God help me if I'm on the wrong side.
God help me if I believe there are only 2 genders, that men should be allowed to compete in womans sports, that our southern boarder be secure, that we should be energy independent.
Let's not omit those demonrat politicians who advocated confronting conservatives in public. Some implying the use of violence. One wished for death.

Sorry, but I tend to get wound up and go on a rant when someone suggests that both parties are equals. There's no middle ground today. It's between good and evil, but that's not to say that all Republicans are good. Republicans kiss democrat a s s.

After Jan 6 some Republicans began leaving the party but they sure as hell didn't become demonrats.

More than 1 million voters switch to GOP, raising alarm for Democrats

Democrats are Leaving the Democrat Party in Droves and Becoming ...

I never suggested the parties were equals, only that their hypocrisy is disturbingly similar.

My suburban Pittsburgh county had a huge Democrat majority for almost 100 years but now it’s about even in registration, the majority of county offices are held by Republicans, and all of our state senators and representatives but one are Republicans.

"Ask for another $100 million and I get this? And goddammit,
last time I get semi-formal fashion tips from Fetterman!"

So the Biden Regime is calling up IRR troops to active duty. If you don’t know what IRR is it stands for individual ready, reserve, and it’s made of up of those people who have separated from the service in the last six months or less. These idiots are about to get us into another foreign war, which we have no interest in. We need to get vocal right now about putting the brakes on this nonsense before we are involved in world war three.

They keep pushing us towards more conflict, bigger conflict. It appears the goal is to get us directly involved.

But Ukraine pays Hunter a lot of money.

A lot of the Swamp makes their money from arms sales.

Agreed. 100% agreed.

Again, 100% agreed.

Dementia Joe wants to follow FDR's footsteps (no pun intended) and get America involved in a massive war to cover up terrible economic policies. Dementia Boy is thrilled at the prospect of his new solar-powered tanks and trans-infantry overwhelming the Russians.

He is of course too dumb to learn the lessons learned by other leaders (Charles XII, Bonaparte, Hitler) who believed that the Russians would be easy pickings.

And do not for a second believe that Dementia Joe has any moral compunction against throwing away thousands - tens of thousands - of American lives to prop up his failing policies. He is doing so right before our eyes by stripping giving away the nation's military hardware.

Sure…. sure. …..and the coke culprit can’t be found.

Reserve troops who may be called up for Europe duty would serve ‘administrative’ functions, Kirby says

The clarification may have been an attempt to tamp down anxiety after Republicans railed against the executive order Thursday.

It won't be his sons or grand kids, legitimate or otherwise being used as cannon fodder.

For thousands of years, political leaders fought and risked death and knew the cost of war. Caesar fought, Alexander the Great fought, George Washington fought, Ulysses Grant fought.

However, for the past 75 years, a lot of our elected leaders for the most part (Eisenhower, Kennedy, H.W. Bush and W. Bush being the exceptions) not only didn't fight, they dodged serving. Clinton dodged the draft, Biden dodged the draft, and fact is Trump dodged the draft.

And funny how those who dodged service (Trump being the obvious exception) are some of the biggest blowhards and most likely to put our troops in harm's way. Here's an idea - if a political leader thinks fighting is such a good idea, they should be willing to be on the battlefield with the troops, near the front, not 100 miles away.

or there should be universal law that the country's leaders are to fight each other instead of sending thousands to their slaughter.

Yes. Send the leaders to fight. Joe says he does pushup. Putin likes to pose shirtless. Zelensky wear army clothes.

The fighting type.

Hundreds or thousands of gay and transgender troops coming home in body bags would be a bad look though especially since they're almost always Liberal Democrats.

The enemy may die from laughter when they see them.

If I was going to use mentally ill people in combat, I'd go with psychopaths, not men in lipstick&high heels.

I would like to propose, on the undercard, a match up between French President Emmanuelle Macron and Canadian PM Justine Castro.

G. H. W. Bush served during Vietnam but never deployed. At least he served.

I think the bigger issue is going to war on a “Congressional Use of Force Authorization” instead of declaring war. Stop giving the Military Individual Complex unlimited hunting licenses.
