Well, running a 3-4 or 4-3 base would be preferable to the two DL stuff Tomlin is so fond of.

And that will get gashed on passing plays...our new base defense (like most teams) is the nickel...

I’m convinced that Tomlin knows Flores is better than him and did not want to be shown up. That’s why the consistent “C” level coaching staff.

That ASSUMES after a year working under Tomlin, Flores WANTED to stay. Odds are better that Flores realized what a shyt show it was, and wanted nothing more to do with it.
