Week 17 Game Thread

Actually, there were a few that thought MR was the better QB on the roster. There were even some of those that wanted to go with him instead of adding MT. It was obvious to some that MT was NOT the answer, and KP wasn’t really ready yet, and were willing to go with MR to start last year.

Once Tomlin made the switch to KP last year, it was going to be his spot until they were done with him forever. MR never got a legitimate chance @ QB1 or QB2, for some reason. This just PROVES that Tomlin AND his staff have no idea when it comes to QB evaluation or development.

I have always wanted to see MR at least get a fair shot, now that Tomlin has been PROVEN wrong, I would not even entertain an offer to stay if Tomlin is still the HC.

For sure there were those that thought Mason was judged too quickly and not given a fair enough chance.

Shush.. Rudolph is the second coming of Peyton manning and you know it… 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thats a little much. Don't think anyone is even implying that. It's just that it's exciting to finally see good QB play after 14 weeks of what was for the most part trash.

You would think so. But, I figure we had become so used to subpar QB play that anyone coming in playing even average for the position looks like a superstar to us.

Where is he then?

Where is he then?

Ok, who's turn was it to watch FordFairlaine? Ladyboy demands to know!

Very clever with that picture btw.

Well, in fairness, the H.O.F. QB didn't have any success to speak of a few years ago.

The offense HAS been awful.

It may be might be more than just 1 problem.
12 games over 200 yards and 22 TDs. The Steelers are at least 12-5 this year with that type of production from the QB.

It’s a small sample size, but Rudolph is averaging 32 ppg.

Many Bigger dreams have been made on smaller sample sizes.

Salute the nation

Show me a proof Kenny ran out of a clean pocket. No one has ever shown a clean pocket Kenny ran out of.
Yesterday on the play where Mason flung it 40 yards to Pickens on a deep out to the right side he stood in there with guys 2 inches from his face and delivered the ball....when have you seen Kenny do that? I'm not a Mason nut hugger, but give dude his credit and be honest about Kenny. I'm not saying he can't improve his game, but right now he is what he is.

And you gave a thumbs up to the comment you are complaining on now...LOL.

Yeah but it would be a higher ppg average ....... if that Najee character had not been so selfish by sliding when he clearly could have scored and increased the offensive output... of RUDY

these type of guys that put clock management, victory formations and winning a game ahead of fantasy points make me sick .......... I only went 7 wins out of 8 leagues during championship week.......... The only loss was my Steeltown team .... by a score of 6.3 points ( in other words a Najee Td and 3 yards more) fugging BAMA players............lol

And apparently in yours he controls nothing.

Betcha it's somewhere in the middle. Say around .500, .560. 😉
That’s your interpretation that I think the HC isn’t responsible for anything. In my opinion he is responsible for managing the multiple personalities and addressing issues when they arise. Sure, in an idea world he would prevent all problems/conflict, but that isn’t realistic.

Maybe if your guys handled their business they wouldn’t have to rely on someone else.
The Packers control their own destiny. Win and in. It's the Steelers that didn't "handle their business, so they wouldn't have to rely on someone else."

Good luck with all that.

Too funny.

not really

he has kinda sucked over the years
Gotta disagree with you coolie. He has played better over the years than most give home credit for. I still like Kenny better if he gets his **** together but Mason was put in some bad positions in the past. Even then he flashed his ability to throw from the pocket. .

Yes great throw and catch there!

Kenny used to do that last season .. this season he has developed happy feet and seems very tentative nervous in the pocket..

Don’t know what changed in his head though?

My opinion is that he realized getting hit hurts especially bad in the NFL and he rather not feel that pain..or he knows his body can’t handle that type of contact every week..

Shades tends to base his starting lineups on players’ draft positions.
