It's almost as though they're trying to build a roster for when they find a QB worth the investment. Like, who do you think would've been the answer at QB since Khan has taken over?I think Kahn has improved the roster over his first 2 years as it had a lot of holes when he took over.
However, the Steelers as an organization seem focused on improving the roster everywhere except the most important position on the team, as if they can win without the QB position. They cannot. I don't really understand what this team is doing.
The other area of fair criticism is player development (which isn't Kahn's primary responsibility). This organization rarely develops its high draft picks into anything meaningfully improved in 2-3 years - at least recently. In the salary cap era, you just can't succeed without your high draft picks developing into multi-year major pieces of your team. We're not getting that type of development. Too many misses early in the draft.
Who was worth development? Or who was capable of developing someone? It isn't Clown-lin, that's been proven in spades. He's hopeless as a developer of QBs, even with his DAILY morning meetings. Total waste of time. It's almost as though they're trying to build a roster for when they find a QB worth the investment. It's just nonsense what you are saying. Who has really "developed" QB? I think QB, more than any position, the player needs to have qualities inherently or they just don't. The qualities may be a little different depending on the QB, but they have to have it. Jackson has his incredible athleticism. That isn't "developed." Ben had that ability to make lemonade out of lemons. Brady wouldn't lose. Bradshaw had that arm. Those things weren't "developed." I think you could get a litany of the greatest coaches in the world working with a Kenny Pickett and he will be what he is. The mistake was drafting the kid where they did.Who was worth development? You may be seeing that with a Brock Purdy. The guy lasted to the 7th for a reason. Kudos to him for doing what he is doing. But what great trait does he inherently possess?
Jayden Daniels wouldn't be bad. It's almost as though they're trying to build a roster for when they find a QB worth the investment. Like, who do you think would've been the answer at QB since Khan has taken over?
YepYou’re assigning way too much blame and credit to the GM, the guy with the most power in the organization is Tomlin.
Beat me to it. I asked for 14 more threads... surely there will be an original thought in one of them!
And with all that "power" he hasn't won a single playoff game in 8 years. He has too much. You’re assigning way too much blame and credit to the GM, the guy with the most power in the organization is Tomlin.
The problem with the above scenario is that the "retard twins" will ruin Kahn's rep before he gets that chance to redeem himself from guilt by association. Last year's WR experience in 2024 was heinous; promising week after week after week to have it resolved was deplorable. It never was addressed after months of promising to do so. It was never addressed, never. So, feeling the sting from such transgression, they panic early in '25 signing Metcalf, only to be right where they ended up being with just 1 capable WR, with Pickens likely to continue his piss @ss tude and effort and being late for virtually all meetings etc. And on and on it goes, Clown-lin in a state of never-ending turmoil. He will use some fancy quips to get out ot it. F--- him.The problem isn't Khan.
He unfortunately is the low man on the pole in the triumvirate that is Rooney (owner), Tomlin (coach), and Khan (GM).
IMO - Mostly Tomlin, but Rooney and Tomlin hold the most stroke in the room right now because of tenure.
My hope is Art II and Tomlin are gone in 2 years and that leaves Dan II and Khan to select a new coach for a new era.
Can't blame Khan for making moves only to have Tomlin take his newly acquired Nose Tackle and play him at WR ( obvious exaggerating for affect ).
I won't put ANYTHING on Khan until the retard twins ( Rooney/Tomlin) and the stain of their ineptness are gone.
No $hit?!?And with all that "power" he hasn't won a single playoff game in 8 years. He has too much.
The last sentence in his original post implicates Tomlin. You’re assigning way too much blame and credit to the GM, the guy with the most power in the organization is Tomlin.
Not really, Kahn seems to be doing a decent to good job doing HIS JOB. When Dookie steps down and Tomlin moves on Kahn will then get to show if he is who we think he isThe problem with the above scenario is that the "retard twins" will ruin Kahn's rep before he gets that chance to redeem himself from guilt by association.
You make this statement continuously, even though you have ZERO idea of what went on all last year. You can’t force a team to make a trade (unless you overpay greatly), and you can’t force a FA to sign. Just because they didn’tget their guy doesn’t mean that behind the scenes they didn’t try.Last year's WR experience in 2024 was heinous; promising week after week after week to have it resolved was deplorable. It never was addressed after months of promising to do so. It was never addressed, never.
Again you are making a statement that you have no idea if it will be true. It’s possible it could go that route, and possible that it doesn’t. Pickens is immature, as are all young players, he is also frustrated that he is not in a position to put his stamp on the NFL because of the situation. I do think that he, and those around him, are smart enough to realize this is a “money” year for himself. I think if he is still on the team he goes full tilt looking for those next contract dollars, and the addition of Metcalf makes that easier, if he matures just a bit to realize it.So, feeling the sting from such transgression, they panic early in '25 signing Metcalf, only to be right where they ended up being with just 1 capable WR, with Pickens likely to continue his piss @ss tude and effort and being late for virtually all meetings etc.
This is just a continuous personal attack, which shows YOUR immaturity. And on and on it goes, Clown-lin in a state of never-ending turmoil. He will use some fancy quips to get out ot it. F--- him.
I just wanna know who "us" is???Answer to the thread title…………
An endless supply of crappy Lloyd post(s).

He went #2 overall. The Steelers had no chance at him.Jayden Daniels wouldn't be bad.
