Who should start vs the Colts?

Mason certainly does not have a better arm than Mitch. Mitch was a very high draft pitch in part due to his big arm. With that being said I am not a Mason fan at all, but at this point what does it hurt to give him a shot. In reality i think Mitch starts, but has a very short leash. If they were honestly thinking about benching kenny then they would not hesitate to bench mitch.
 
I'd let Mitch start a half next game and if he doesn't get **** done, then put Mason in just to shut everyone up. It's the same ****** playbook and coaches,if you're looking for magic,go see a David Copperfield show.
 
I would start Rudolph, but it's hard not to think he must really, really, really suck.

One of the MANY errors with this team: having NO developmental QB on the roster whatsoever. How is that a wise thing to do? It's retarded. Why wouldn't you take a shot on some young QB just in case he develops? We've seen where this team's priorities and preferences have gotten this team: in the middle of nowhere. Their poor lack of judgement is nothing short of astonishing. You roll the dice with a rookie/2nd-year QB. OK, it turns out they were wrong on Kenny but it happens. But then you sign/keep TWO hogwash vets with no upside and Deuce gushes on about them and their "winning records" as if that's meaningful in their case. They said Mitch was the highest paid backup QB in the entire NFL......the entire NFL? Deuce thinks that is $ well spent? Mr. cheap bags thinks that Mitch is $ well spent? Why? Because he already F'd up by signing him in the 1st place and he doesn't want to admit that mistake, so let's double down on that error and resign him?

Between Shades and Deuce, I don't know who is freaking up the team worse. It's a tie since Deuce doesn't realize Shades is a fraud.
 
I see just 2 wins Colts & Bengals, Sea Chicks will tee off with DK, and Lamar will look like Vick's 2006 game.
 
like what is so hard about calling a slant to DJ or Pickens or the trips bunch set someone DJ crosses Pickens 7 straight up and to come back with all that they should be able to shield MUth or Heward for a simple 4 yards and curl.

Trib is the same piece of trash as Zach Wilson they cant make it past 2 progressions and either run or try some stupid ****.

As crap, at times Mason has he like Zappe can spread the ball if they probably call sets quick 3-5 step drops and get to DJ &^ Pickens for plays that will get yac yards.
Start Mason if he terrible after a qtr put mitch back in.
 
We love hitting on the QB but we all have overlooked a defense that gave up 21 points in the first half. week before allowed a 98 yard drive for a TD. So, we start any QB what will this defense do. They can't tackle, give up a lot of yards after receiving the ball. Four-man rush and still can't cover. Fingers toward the QB is Ok even though the line was terrible at pass protection. Way more wrong in this team than what QB starts.
 
Mitch gets paid way too much to start Rudy who couldn’t even get a sniff from any other team over him

We know we are slow to admit mistakes around here and the Head Mistake will keep with his QB2 Mistake

Obviously simple matter of painting a barn brown, ya got a bunch of **** brown paint to use

So break out your Trouble towels and twirl them towards another year of irrelevance
 
I'd rather see Mason at QB because I have zero confidence in Mitch. I don't have confidence in Mason either but at this point I'm sick of seeing Mitch F up (nearly) every drive.
Plus, Mason can take a head blow like a champ!
 
We’ve been cursed by the three headed monster with this organization. An owner who simply doesn’t get it. His father was the epitome of what the Steelers were all about. The son took over but failed to carry on from the father.
Next the HC who is way past his shelf life. Stale and antiquated ideas about how to run a pro football team in today’s NFL Terrry Bradshaw said it best when he called Tomlin a cheerleader. This cheerleader has gotten fat and stale and his schtick has grown old.
Lastly the QBs. The starer has taken steps backwards and doesn’t appear to have any at all
elite traits. The backup stinks and the third string QB is thought so poorly of he can’t even get a snap.
I was always afraid of this if Tomlin had to draft and develop Ben’s successor he would fail. The franchise could be in for some very dark years ahead.
 
He ll....don't matter at this point. Give Mason a shot. Next week, start Trubisky or Rudolph and let McSorley get some game time in just to see what he can do.

Thank you. At least I'm not the only one that notices they suck too. Which a good portion of it is that ***** *** prevent bs they play.

I wish other teams defenses played the Steelers offense like that.

Mitch threw 51 mph left 50 mph right. Mason threw 52 mph left and right.
 
I think what I'm hearing you say is both qb's are capable of throwing a quick interception.

Here is Rudolph's report

Overview
Pocket quarterback with good size who has shown consistent improvement as a passer. Rudolph is more of a downfield, play-action passer than a quarterback who can win with precision and arm strength. He's a capable field reader who has the ability to operate with timing which will be important since his arm can be dull at times. Rudolph could be an early backup with the potential of becoming an average to below average starter in the league.

Overview
Trubisky is a high-end quarterback prospect who possesses NFL size, a big arm and the ability to throw with accuracy from the pocket or on the move. Despite playing in a spread-based offense, he's a full-field reader who does a very good job of getting an early read on the safeties before crafting his course of action. Trubisky will have to become much more pocket aware and do a better job of recognizing and attacking blitzes to back NFL defensive coordinators off. He hasn't put all the pieces together yet, but the puzzle is all right in front. Trubisky projects as a good starting quarterback with a high floor and the potential to be great.

Just activate McSorley and run a three headed monster offense at QB

If your drive ends without points…rotate, next man up. Not entirely sure McSorley isn’t our best rostered QB

Let teams prepare for 3 crappy QBs, give ‘em something to think about 😂 like which one will throw the next pick
