Still not the number 2 guy but it's a pretty good guess bearing in mind how productive Bryant has been.

Wheaton and Bryant both have great potential. The steeler offense will take a big step in consistency when they learn not to disappear for stretches as targets for Ben-hopefully starting Sunday but probably not till next year.
I've seen Wheaton earlier in the year have times where he would break the wrong way/run the wrong route and Ben got frustrated with him and stopped going there. This offense is AB heavy because Ben doesn't have a true #2 receiver yet. Bryant is evolving quickly but he definitely needs a full off season with the team to improve. I think next year these two guys Wheaton and Bryant make huge leaps in production for us and our offense will be even more potent.
I think you are on to something Hines. Let me add that I expect the wide out by committee to continue because as of right now we have one complete receiver on the Team and that is A. Brown. In addition to being complete he is arguably the best in the league at what he does. Our true number two wide out is a running back named Bell maybe you have heard about him. The next big threat we have is a tight end named Heath a name that may have been heard as well. The rest of the guys are situational players at this point. Wheaton and Bryant are learning and developing and look to have their respective needles pointing up if you will. I will say this year we will not likely have a true number two wide out because of what the rest of the guys have to do to become a number two and three. Next year maybe, but this year it is likely to be receiver packages instead of two and three receivers based on situational football.
