Interesting stat... you might find it fascinating that know that the U.S. has (far and away) the highest Covid-19 recovery rate in the world. That's great considering the stupid Kung-Flu is already a toothless tiger, killing less than 1/2 of a percent of the U.S. (let alone the world) population.

Tibs - I honestly believe after all the "feels" have finally cleared out and a significant amount of time has passed, history will see Trump as quite possibly the most effective president in U.S. history. I can't think of a single president who's accomplished more for this country in 3 and 1/2 years with greater opposition on all fronts.

MLS fans are not exactly a conservative bunch. Just listen to how oblivious the disgruntled player is. He doesn't think anybody has a right to get upset over protesting the anthem. He certainly doesn't grasp the irony of somebody engaged in a protest wanting to silence a differing opinion.

I think that the new world order is inevitable, but can be postponed for a few years. I stand against it, but doubt it will be stopped in the long run.

For Trump to win, I think it's down to the debates. He will need to shine and make Biden look every bit like the fool he is.

The debates don't start until almost a month after early voting has started, so the impact could be minimal anyway. Besides, I don't think any debate is going to change anyone's mind at this point. I'm not watching the debates because I'm not voting for either of these ********, debate or not. I know what they stand for and neither person represents me. Our government has failed us on so many levels that I don't see how anyone can vote republican or democrat. Just be more of the same old bullshit.

I don't see how that can be when pre Covid we had hit record highs in every measurable economic metric. Stock market, jobs, lowest unemployment in history for everyone, including every minority group. I totally understanding not liking Trump on a personal level because he's kind of a dick, but to say nothing good came from his policies is just not accurate.

No thinking person would disagree with this. No thinking person would say that the problems are from one party or the other exclusively.
Career politicians are just a bad idea.
Honestly, it seems that it is time to split up the union. There are three or four regions where thinking is so different that reconciliation seems impossible. I have so little in common with eastern city folk that I can't see a way forward. Same with Left Cost globalists. Those two groups are so whacked that it seems impossible for them to get along. I think that the politicians know this, and just want to get a piece of the pie before it goes away. We have gone the way of most great nations, and are on life support. I would rather it split peaceably than with lead.
IDK. The disappointment seen with the letting down by the government seems like it would lead people to vote for outsiders. The problem is that they are not in the same bed with the media, so they get filleted. It's all so screwed up that it seems impossible to hope that things will get better, until they first get a lot worse.
I just hope that this forum survives the nonsense. I enjoy hearing you all giving insights.

I absolutely agree. Ironically it's the very thing that got Trump elected. I have always thought of Trump as a political enema or a hand grenade to the Washington establishment It's what needed to happen to open people's eyes that you don't HAVE to stick with crony establishment types. Now what will happen after the Trump era? Will people continue looking seriously at outsiders and possibly 3rd party people or will they fall back into the same old, crony establishment candidates like the Joe Bidens and George Bush's? Remains to be seen.
